The "Infallible" Queen Hillary

Just about anyone who's dealt with classified information can tell you that you can get in a lot of trouble for mishandling it.

You can wind up in jail if you did so deliberately.

Although not if your name is "Hillary Clinton."

At a recent televised town hall on CNN, Hillary claimed she did nothing wrong.

Our presumptuous Corrupt Queen is certainly getting dismissive of the on-going scandals

But the peasantry isn't receptive to such royal decrees:  Millenials, and Americans in-general, don't find Hillary trustworthy.

Winter Storm Jonas Dumps Snow on East Coast

(Image--before the storm hit--by FOX News)

The political campaigning has been put on ice temporarily, as the East Coast hunkers down under Winter Storm Jonas.

Trashing Trump

There's a civil war being waged among conservatives.

The casus belli:  The alpha male of the Pachyderm Parade--Donald Trump.

The other day, nearly a dozen commentators on National Review contributed to an upcoming "Stop Trump" issue.

In response, the RNC disinvited NR from the upcoming GOP Debate.

While just about every political cartoonist on Townhall isn't crazy about the Tea Party alpha female, Sarah Palin, endorsing Trump, some folks are asking:  Is Trump a menace to American conservatism?

In today's Political Twilight Zone, the in-fighting is over the "ideological purity" of the candidates--and their supporters.

We now  have liberal and conservative media have united against Trump in an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of relationship.

However, the reason for Trump's popularity among the non-media commentators is, in part, due to "the world they [GOP] made."

So, who is the "Producer of Station WTFO" going to endorse?

Anybody but Corrupt Queen Hillary, or Bolshevik Bernie.

Hillary's SAPpy Server

Despite Queen Hillary's attempt to deflect criticism of her secret server as another "vast right-wing conspiracy," her e-mail woes not only won't go away, but continue to get worse.

The other day, news broke that Hillary's secret server contained material even more sensitive than Top Secret, known as Special Access Programs (SAP).

In fact, the SAPpy stuff was so sensitive that the Inspector General (IG) needed special clearance just to have a peek.

Hillary's minions claim there's nothing to worry about, and this is merely a coordinated effort by the IG and congressional Republicans to smear her.  (Translation:  The vast right-wing conspiracy is at it again).

Things may indeed be fine & dandy inside the campaign headquarters bubble.  However, outside where the voters lurk, according to a CNN poll Bolshevik Bernie is leading Hillary by 27 points.

The Diplomad warns that Bill & Hill have dodged the "...consequences of their corruption..." before, and wonders "...will they be able to do it again?"

I'm about in the dark as The Diplomad.

Ever since E-mailgate made the news, I haven't seen any of the liberals I know on Facebook condemn Hillary's actions.  Instead, they're engaging in a silent disapproval campaign by pledging their support for Bolshevik Bernie.

But oh boy, they're all over the story of  Sarah Palin's son being arrested for domestic violence and possessing a firearm while intoxicated.

Not that Sarah--or the antics of her family--are above reproach, especially since she continues to play with political fire.  Shortly after Palin's son was being hauled off to the klink, she endorsed Donald Trump.

But the same open contempt should heaped on Hillary, or anyone for that matter, who openly defies national security protocols, and continues to lie about having done so.

Honoring Martin Luther King Day

(Image found on Edom Nuts & Bolts)

As someone who's blogging about current events, this picture of, and quote by MLK struck me the most.

While I'd rather be writing fiction, or delving into my wargame projects, I find myself being compelled to write about all the wrongs going on in the world.

Or at least write about as many issues as I can.

Best wishes to all of you.

Os Prisoners for Nukes Deal

Last week, just hours before Our Dear Leader's last State of the Union Address (SOTU), 10 American sailors were captured by elements of the Iranian navy.

Fortunately, they were released and have apparently suffered no physical harm.  However, the humiliating treatment of our sailors has been a hot-button topic, especially upon hearing things like their captors told them to "act happy."

While on the subject of Americans held by Iran, yesterday it was announced that four prisoners, including a long-held pastor, will be released.

Of course the Obama Administration is ecstatic over how, by concluding the Nuke Deal, they avoided some 21st Century version of the War of Jenkins' Ear.

Yesterday, sanctions were, or are in the process of being lifted against Iran

Yeah, "...and there was much rejoicing."

Despite all this on-the-surface good news, us like-minded folks, especially Bibi, aren't happy about giving-in to Iran.

To put it bluntly:  We haven't trusted the Iranian government since Iran Hostage Crisis.

Since then, Iran has a history of humiliating others when given the opportunity--or more likely, seeking the opportunity--to do so.

Once the mullahs are flush with cash, we won't be surprised by more such non-nuclear actions--or worse--in the future...

O's Last SOTU

I didn't watch Our Dear Leader's parting State of the Union (SOTU) Address.  As I told a friend on Facebook, I didn't feel like being lectured on how racist I am and that lawful gun ownership is a "gateway drug" to being a criminal.  I forgot to add about being lectured on my supposed sexism, and homo-Islamo-xeno-phobia.

Based on the post-SOTU snippets, I'm glad I skipped the lecture, as once again, Obama downplayed the ISIS threat and defends his economic record, even after a Syrian suicide bomber self-detonated in Istanbul.

But ISIS is only part of the Islamofacist problem, and Obama isn't the only one downplaying it.  Mark Steyn has been warning folks for more than a decade about the growing Islamification of Europe--and eventually even America.  He would like to "hold the Mohammed Salad."

In addition to Euraby's roving rape gangs, there's our supposed BFF (best friend forever) Iran, now holding 10 American sailors.  Which Our Dear Leader decided not to mention this tidbit of breaking news.

Maybe he didn't want the mullahs "unfriending" him.

For the sake of fairness and posterity, here's O's final SOTU.

And here's what The Heritage Foundation, via The Daily Signal, said what Obama got wrong in the SOTU.

UPDATE:

Several hours after the SOTU, it was reported that Iran released the American sailors

Reviewing O's Gun Control Theatre

I didn't bother watching Our Dear Leader's "Guns in America" townhall meeting on CNN.

From what I've been reading so far, the program was pretty much what I expected--that of getting away with as much gun control as possible to the exclusion of all other factors involved in violent crimes.

If you're like me and don't want to sit through the whole show, or read the transcript, Aaron Goldstein "took one for the team" and provided Five Observations of the Obama/CNN "Guns in America" Townhall Meeting for us to use as "Cliff Notes."

The high points of the show occurred when rape survivor, Kimberly Corban, told Obama that his gun control agenda will make protecting herself and her family harder; along with Taya Kyle reminding Obama that criminals don't have the same moral code as law-abiding citizens.

While Leftists continue their hue & cry over gun control, the "stubborn facts" about gun violence in America, is that it's fairly low based on the size of our population vs. gun ownership.

The Independent Journal Review provided another set of "Cliff Notes," in the form of 13 Charts Put America's Gun Violence in Perspective.

Our Dear Leader's attempt at soft-selling gun control hasn't dissuaded us from the feeling that he's shooting at the wrong target...

Back to the 90s With Bill & Hill

Despite the Clinton Campaign's attempt to sink the Secret Server Scandal, bits of flotsam keep surfacing.  For starters, the State Department missed another deadline to turn over e-mails.

And then there was this bombshell:  Hillary ordered an aide to strip classified markings from e-mails and send them via non-secure means.

Hillary's been lying all along about her e-mails and secret server.

But this isn't the only lie she's telling.

There's the pestering question about Benghazi:  Somebody's lying. Who is it?

And speaking of liars, Bill Clinton is back in the limelight.

Some time ago when Hillary called Donald Trump sexist, Donald hit back--hard--and began reminding the public of Slick Willy's sexcapades.

So the Clinton Scandal Machine is revving up.

Of course, quite a few in the Non-Fox news networks would like to consider Bill's sexual past "off limits."

But Ann Coulter reminds us of a time when Chris Matthews actually asked hardball questions.

Bill's already ducked one question, but there'll be others, hopefully, as sexual politics hound Hill and Bill.

Enemies Inside and Outside the Ramparts

So far this first full week of 2016 has been a busy one.  While I've been off-duty, my family finally had our Christmas Dinner, followed by taking down the decorations--which we're still in the process of doing.

Meanwhile, the Enemies of Western Civilization have been busy during my off-line time.

First, a couple days ago news broke out of Germany of mass sexual assaults on New Year's Eve committed by "Arab or North African" men.  German police and media are being accused of conducting a cover-up, since it took days to clarify the ethnicity of the perpetrators, numbering as many as 1,000.  Leftists in-general seem to be reluctant to name our enemies openly, unless they're conservatives, which waters-down any response the victims can make.  Mark Steyn remarks that victims of Islamist sexual assault will merely have to lie back and think of Germany (and Sweden, and Norway)...

So far the only response has been to hold Rape is Wrong courses for Muslim "refugees."

As the Islamic rape gangs rove around Europe; in Asia, North Korea claimed to detonate an H-bomb

Last week, there was a lot of "looking back at 2015."  Instead of looking back, "VDH" examines the rendezvous with reality in 2016.

Basically, things will get worse before they (maybe, just maybe) get better.

I'd say "keep your powder dry," but in the past few days there's been a flurry of news stories about Obama's impending gun control executive order(s).

As I write this post, it's still a couple hours prior to Obama's "Guns in America" townhall meeting on CNN.  Afterwards, I'll be spending the next day, or three, sifting through news and commentaries before I write about Obama's Imperial Decree with impact lawful gun owners.

Hillary's Helpful Hints to Terrorists

Before 2015 came to a close, Hillary claimed Donald Trump was upsetting the tender feelings of our terrorists enemies by making anti-Islamic statements on a video.

The problem with Hillary's claim was:  Such a video didn't exist.

Now, thanks to Hillary's suggestion, Al-Shabaab an Al-Qaeda franchise in Somalia, reportedly released a recruiting video using footage of Donald Trump.

Talk about a case of art following politics.

Leftists love to think that it's us mean conservatives that are making terrorists and tyrants throughout the world angry at us.

But us like-minded folks, like The Diplomad, know that when it comes to Islamic terrorists:  "No video is required to stir up this wrath."

They're perpetually pissed-off at us just for not being Muslim; or in the cases of their fellow Muslims, not Muslim enough.

Occupy BLM?

(Image from:  FOX News)

A couple nights ago a group of ranchers took a page from the Occupy Wall Street Playbook and set up camp at a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) facility in Oregon.

Meanwhile, the FBI is urging for a peaceful resolution to the situation.

While ranchers usually aren't leftist-types, like the Occupy Wallstreeters, it's hard to feel sympathy for their plight when the cadre have been convicted of crimes--and are currently squatting on government property.

On the other hand, I'm not a fan of the government's militarization of civilian agencies.

Remember the so-called shutdown, which turned park rangers into "Imperial Park Troopers?"

Looking Back on 2015

I thought I'd attempt to open the New Year's blogging activity on a humorous note about the previous year, thanks to Dave Barry's 2015 Year in Review.

For the more serious-minded, there's Derek Hunter's The Best, Worst And The Rest of 2015, along with John Hawkins' The 20 Best Quotes of the Year, Todd Starnes' 10 Stories That Fired Up America, and of course, Mark Steyn's Three-Hundred-Sixty-Se'nnight.

But to optimists like John Stossel and Jeff Jacoby, 2015 was a "year half-full."

Here's Stossel's 2015 and Jacoby's Look Again at some of this year's positives.

No matter how bad we think 2015 was, let's hope 2016 is a better year for all of us.
