Hollyweird Political Preview

I haven't watched an award show since Return of the King swept the Academy Awards for 2003.

A few days ago, Hollywood celebrated itself for the 74th time with the 74th Annual Golden Globes Awards.

Of course, Hollyweirdos still haven't learned that the more they talk about politics the more us Deplorables despise them.  Instead of accepting an award with good grace, Meryl Streep used her moment in the spotlight to lambaste Trump.

So another celebrity makes a political statement during an awards show fewer and fewer people tune into.  Who cares, right?

Because their rants ruin our enjoyment of the films and shows we love.

There are very few people in America nowadays who don't watch television or go to movies.  My wife and I even went to see Rogue One last week, despite the hue & cry to Dump Star Wars.

The last time we saw a film on the big screen was to see Rogue One's predecessor The Force Awakens, just about a year ago.

Even though we don't actively call for boycotting films...

...we hardly venture out to see them.

We're not the only ones either.  The Diplomad mentioned his viewing habits while introducing Hollyweirdos to reality.

Last weekend's award show served as a preview Hollywood will be delivering for the next four years.

But Streep's rant not only reflected Hollywood's intolerance, but also it's hypocrisy as well.
