2016: The Year of Generation Snowflake
This year saw the "birth" of Generation Snowflake.
Otherwise, the year was dominated by the Presidential Election and it's on-going repercussions.
(Russian hackers--Barry O's sanctions against Russians--the Bare-Chested Czar's non-response--etc.)
Instead of rehashing all this at-length, I thought I'd end 2016 on a humorous note--at the expense of Snowflakes/Social Justice Whiners (SJWs).
The People's Cube came up with a Militant Snowflake insignia for SJWs (seen above).
Another idea concocted by The People's Cube is Safe Seating for traumatized voters (seen below).
While I think these, and the related articles on The People's Cube are funny, I'm not sure I'd really want to see them employed for real.
Anyway, let's hope 2017 is the start of something better than the past 8 years have been.

Barry O Coulda Been a Contender in 2016
(Image from: Hot Air) |
The other day, our soon to be Ex-Dear Leader said he was confident he could have won a third term.
President-elect T. Don ("The Donald") replied: NO WAY!
I'd like to agree with "Tango Delta," but I'm not so sure. Like Our Un-coronated Corrupt Queen, Barry O had the non-FOX News media, Hollywierd, metropolitan areas, and universities on his side. He could have sputtered across the Electoral Finish Line on momentum alone, plus he was more "likable" than Hillary.
Or maybe T. Don could indeed beat Barry O in such a Celebrity Deathmatch.
Either way, what I do think is that the results of such a fictitious contest would have been closer than the blow-out the real Presidential Election of 2016 turned out to be.
But speculation aside, this is why we have presidential term limits...

Barry O's Hanukkah Present to Bibi
A day before the start of Hanukkah (24 December this year), Barry O's mouthpiece at the UN (Useless Nobodies), Samantha Powers, abstained in a UN vote clearing the way for condemning Israeli settlements.
In response, Bibi summoned the US ambassador to protest the UN vote, and then curtailed working ties with 12 nations who voted in favor of the resolution.
Good for him.
I hope our ambassador got a good Old Testament tongue lashing, while those defunct working ties get redirected to America after President T. (The) Donald is sworn-in. In the meantime Trump took to Twitter stating things will be different after January 20th.
Let's hope so.
While it Barry O may not have technically and metaphorically stabbed Bibi in the back, he certainly had his hand on the dagger.
He may have had two hands on the dagger. Bibi is claiming to have "ironclad information" Barry O and his minions pushed for the UN resolution.
We'll see where this one leads. Both Obama and Hillary have been immune to scandals for years now.
Despite Trump trouncing Hillary on Election Day, we face a world growing more dangerous as we enter the New Year...

The Press on the Verge of Perishing?
The news didn't quite stop over Christmas. I just didn't feel like taking time away from attending church, spending time with my family, (and of course opening presents!) to blog about it.
So speaking of news and to start the final week of 2016, VDH discusses the downward spiral of traditional news outlets in his latest article: The Trump Nail in the Media Coffin.
I can't say that I'm sad over this, especially after watching the not-so-unbiased meltdowns over Trump's election, and the glowing obituaries about Croaked Castro.

The Known Wolf Before Christmas
The Berlin Christmas Market Terrorist Attack followed the same tragic patterns as previous "known wolf" attacks:
1. A known terrorist enters the country.
2. The terrorist commits a crime (Berlin Attacker was arrested in August for forging documents, but was released).
3. Authorities suspect the terrorist is hatching a plot (German police knew the suspect would strike.)
4. The terrorist(s) strike, preferably an iconic target. Innocent people are maimed and/or killed
(Image from Independent's article: Everything We Know About the Berlin Christmas Market Attack So Far) |
5. Authorities shroud the event in political correctness/newspeak (German Authorities Release Picture of Suspect--With Half His Face Blurred).
6. If the suspect isn't killed by police, and is apprehended instead, the trial will drag on for years.
7. In either case, politicians will employ newspeak when making their appeals to the angry citizenry (Trump says what Obama Refused to say). Meanwhile, public leftists (professors, celebrities, etc.) will voice their concern over the rise of their dreaded enemies--conservatives. (Harvard lecturer is worried the Berlin Attack will give a big boost to the far right).
8. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Mark Steyn mentions the predicable repetitiveness of it all in his Mopping-Up Operation article.
In this case, manhunt for the Berlin attacker continues. What's especially discouraging is that Germany has 7,000 terror suspects, but can't keep track of them all.
Europe may be several thousand miles away, but jihadist operatives are close at hand. Although good luck convincing a debatable number of New Yorkers of this, and who feel the ISIS threat in America is "fake news."
But there is a glimmer of hope this Christmas: Australian police thwarted jihadist plans for Christmas bombings.

Last Ditch Effort to Delegitimize Donald
Prior the final Electoral tally, celebrity has-beens urged Republican electors to cast their lots with anyone but Trump.
Talk about the definition of insanity (trying the same thing over and over, but expecting a different result).
During the election, endorsements for Hillary by out-of-touch celebrities rubbed middle class Americans the wrong way. But the Democrats are still in denial about the causes of Hillary's humiliating defeat.
(Another image by Glenn McCoy) |
In fact, just as the recount attempt revealed more popular votes for Trump--and massive voter fraud in Democrat bastion Detroit--more electors broke from Hillary than Trump. Most of the rogue electors reside here in WA State.
Ouch! Indeed.
Michael Moore offered to pay the $1,000 fine for any elector going rogue.
He's good for it, especially since he'll only be out of five grand or so.
Since none of the celebrities who vowed to flee to Canada if Trump won...
...has actually packed-up moved, we'll be dealing with crybabies like washed-up anger monger, Keith Olbermann, long past Christmas and throughout Trump's term in office.

Breaking News: Terrorist Attack in Berlin
While leftists attempted to disrupt the Electoral College's vote in order to deny Trump the presidency (it failed--more on this in the upcoming days); beyond our borders, two terrorists driving a truck plowed into a crowd at Berlin's Christmas Market, killing 12 and injuring 48.
Mark Steyn is at least one terrorist attack behind in his columns, but he's on-target about Europe's mass Stockholm Syndrome and what the likely end-game will be in his For What It's Worth article.

The Dems' Hackmas Wish
But as Matt Vespa concluded in the above article:
"In the end, Clinton lost. And that's all on her..."
According to Wikileaks founder, his sources weren't Russian.
Not that I care for the likes of Julian Assange, but the fact is: Despite the headlines raising the hue & cry of "Russian hackers," at this point we truly don't know the source of the leaks.
Whoever the hackers were (still are), they also targeted the Republican Party, but the RNC's security was better.
This is what happens when someone like Madam Reset circumvents security protocols.
Lame Duck Barry O promised to respond to Russian cyberattacks.
Of course, Barry O and his minions knew about the cyber shenanigans months ago--but did nothing--supposedly so as not to interfere with the election.
Translation: Keep things quiet in order for Clinton to be coronated.
Mark Steyn points out how tunes changed in his article The Trump Hack of Notre Dem.
As I mentioned in a previous post: The lamentations of leftists will be constant background--and even forefront--noise for the next four years.
VDH explains how "...new commandments will replace old ones on the barn wall."

China's Classical Confrontational Style
It's widely believed China also has a legion of hacker on PRC politburo. But China doesn't limit its shenanigans to cyberspace. A few days ago they committed an act of grand theft submersible by stealing an underwater drone--right in front of the American crew.
We may see more confrontations like this, despite any tough-talk from Trump.
James Holmes warns us about why we should fear China flexing its Thucydidean Muscles in the near future.

The Unremitting Narrative of Russian Hacking
The hoopla over election hackers continues. As of two days ago, the FBI still didn't think the Russians influenced the election. That however, didn't stop Barry O's mouthpiece from claiming there is "ample evidence" of Trump knowing about Russian hacking attempts.
Members of the House Intelligence Committee wanted to be briefed on this matter, but the CIA refused to send a briefer to Capital Hill.
If there's such "ample evidence," then why didn't the CIA send a briefer to brief the Intelligence Committe?
Despite the conflicting information, a recent FOX-News poll results show most Americans aren't buying the narrative that Russian hacking changed the election's outcome.
I'm not buying this either.
It's not because I'm placing my faith in a post-2016 Election poll, laced with a debatable amount of bias, and may be of dubious value. The like-minded folks I've talked to personally all feel the same way.
Yes, Trump was boorish during the campaign, he probably still is when he's off-camera. But Hillary was a horrible candidate and no amount of Russian hacking would have torpedoed Clinton's campaign.
Hillary's election loss was a self-inflicted--and fatal--wound.

Russian Hacking of US Election a Red Herring?
Throughout the Cold War, anytime Republicans raised concerns over the Soviet Union, Democrats and their leftist rank & file considered it the "fake news" of their day.
Now leftist consider Russia a cyber-threat that was instrumental in torpedoing The Corrupt Queen's Coronation.
Russia throws the US Election to Trump?
Really?
If anything, I think the Bare-Chested Czar would have considered "Madam Reset" to be a more malleable American president.
This appears to be nothing more than an attempt by sore loser Barry O to delegitimize turning over the keys to the White House to the Boorish Billionaire.
Especially since the Director of National Intelligence (and the FBI) aren't all that sure about this anonymous source in the CIA.
Still, it doesn't stop the media types from hitting the panic button.
Or put another way: Leftists are still stinging from their November defeat and are "Russian to judgement."

Fakers Flustered Over "Fake News"
According to the Uncoronated Corrupt Queen, fake news is a threat to Civilization as we know it.
She should talk.
This is the latest Big Lie leftists are now squawking about: The Corrupt Queen lost because us rubes didn't listen/watch/read any of the approved messages disseminated by the Ministry of Truth (the non-FOX News agencies).
John Hawkins gives us a Top 7 Countdown of the Worst Fake News from the Mainstream Media.
Hillary lost because discerning readers/viewers, along with some ethical journalists, have been able to ferret-out the truly fake news.
Let's hope our vigilance never waivers--no matter who's president.

The Lingering Lamentations of the Left
Michael Moore is calling for more public tantrums and the disruption of Trump's inauguration.
Madonna, who's campaign claimed women betrayed their sisterhood.
No matter what kind of president Our Boorish Billionaire will be, the lamentations by leftists will be a part of the daily noise for the next four years.
The key arguement made by leftists is that Hillary won the popular vote.
True. However, Matt Vespa provided a friendly reminder of why Hillary lost.
Not only did Hillary lose, but as Matt mentioned in his article, Democrats running in state and local elections went down in defeat.
What we witnessed last month was just one facet of the collapse of the political left.
I'd like to see this trend continue, but I'm almost certain that the GOP (here in America) will figure out a way to blow their current advantage.

Honoring the 75th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor
Early in my military career I had the honor of visiting the USS Arizona Memorial.
Near the end of my active duty days, I had the opportunity to go to Japan for an exercise. Afterwards, I was fortunate enough to take a tour of Nagasaki, and stood at ground zero.
In a sense, I could say my military career took me to the places where America entered World War II--and where we ended it.

Barry O Worst Pres of All?
However, this hasn't stopped John Hawkins from compiling an early Top 5 List on why Obama will be viewed as one of the worst president's of all time.
There's certainly a lot more than five reasons why "Barry O" was bad. One of them was his selection of Secretary of State, the Corrupt Queen Clinton, who was nearly foisted upon us as his successor.
Barry O's Legacy has left our country--and the world at large--in a mess; which may be difficult, if not impossible to clean up.
But as long as Green Party Candidate, Jill Stein's, recount effort remains stalled; thanks to getting nixed in Pennsylvania and being challenged by Michigan's AG), then we can at least be thankful Hillary won't be a the Helm of State starting next year.
Maybe bars and restaurants will actually tune their televisions to FOX News for the next four years to ensure Clinton doesn't attempt another comeback...

Breitbart's Kerfluffle with Kellogg's
(Image from: The People's Cube) |
Five days ago, Kellogg's announced it was pulling their ads from Breitbart, because the conservative website was incompatible with the company's values.
After some initial swipes at a couple of Castro fans, Mark Steyn points out why Kellogg's decisions isn't such a gr-r-r-r-reat idea in the long run.
A day later, our Canadian-born commentator pointed out that Kellogg's original values weren't so gr-r-r-r-reat either.
Conservative consumers are fighting back: Kellogg's Facebook pages erupted with "#DumpKellogg's" messages.
Personally, I don't eat cereal on a regular basis, and we still have several boxes of Kellogg's products in our pantry. I'm not going to throw out what we already have, and won't openly call upon you readers to boycott the company.
But the next time I do buy cereal, I'll certainly look for similar products concocted by companies who don't pander to Social Justice Whiners (SJWs).

Watch: Gutfeld--Fox News to Blame for Clinton's Defeat?
According to Our Dear Leader, it's FOX News' fault the Corrupt Queen won't be coronated.
In a corresponding video, Neil Cavuto nails it, by reminding Obama: FOX didn't win an election, you lost it.
About the same time Obama was blaming FOX, Trump's campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway clashed with her Clintonian counterparts at the Havard Post-Election Forum.
The spark that ignited the fiery debate: Flinging down the race card.
Clinton's cronies may just was well have called us like-minded folks "deplorable."
Even after the election, they haven't realized they've over-played their hand.
Miss Conway deftly explained why Clinton's campaign failed on Hannity, without the shout-downs from the surly opposition.

Violence, Then Silence at Ohio U
As it turned out, the active shooter wasn't a gunman at all, but still injured 9 people by attempting to run over them with his car and then went on a short-lived stabbing spree. (Now it's been reported that 11 people were injured).
The only gunman was the university police officer who shot and killed the suspect, who turned out to be Abul Razak Ali Artan.
Before the facts were fully known leftists raised the hue & cry about gun control. The chief culprit was our almost-VP, Tim Kaine who jumped the gun pushing for gun control.
Since the late and unlamented Artan didn't use a firearm in his one-man jihad, the story lost traction.
As with previous terrorist attacks, we're told police will be delving into Artan's "don't-say-I'm-violent-or-I'll-kill-you" motives.
Investigators will save a lot of time if they'd check out ISIS's response to Artan's attack.
No matter what the jihadists say, or the manner in which they launch their attacks, leftists will somehow figure it's all our fault.

Tacoma Police Officer Killed in the Line of Duty
In the wee hours of the morning, one of Tacoma's finest, Reginald Gutierrez was killed while making a welfare check. The suspect, who held two children hostage was shot and killed by a Pierce CO Sheriff's SWAT member.
Euphemistic Eulogies for Croaked Castro
Castro's dead, but leftist media outlets still honoring him and his debacle.
"Debacle" is putting it mildly. Castro's Cuba was a slice of Hell-on-Earth.
Ben Shapiro asks: Why does the Left go easy on dictators? Only vermin should mourn the loss of their own...
...which, now that I think of it, says something about leftist media mouthpieces.
Jonah Goldberg observes: Even in death, Castro still has "useful idiots," who sing his praises, rather than condemn him to the Ash Heap of History where he, and his foul regime belong.
Cal Thomas points out the Left has had a love affair with Castro for almost as long as he's been in power.
These useful idiots and their minions are enemies of language.
One of the biggest is The Great White North's Baby-Faced Commie Apologist.
There's much more South of the Border. Katie Pavlich wrote a Top 5 Most Outrageous Responses to Castro's Death.
I have a lot of respect for Miss Pavlich, but personally I would have put Our Dear Leader at #1, and the Great White North's Baby-Faced Commie at #2.
I mean saying Croaked Castro "...altered the course of individual lives, families and the Cuban nation..." along with calling him Cuba's "...longest serving president..." are the ultimate euphemisms the Western Hemisphere's most brutal--and longest serving--dictator.
While Croaked Castro's fawning fans mourn El Comandante's departure to the Great Comintern in the Sky, Cuban-Americans were celebrating like Munchkins over the demise of the Wicked Witch of the East. Which as Humberto Fontova points out, for about 600,000 good reasons.

Breaking News: Castro Kicked the Bucket
As I was about to head to the gym this morning, I came across Yahoo News mournful headline:
End of an Era in Cuba as Revolutionary Fidel Castro Dies.
Well it's about freakin' time!
For some reason I remember this political cartoon, penned back in Slick Willy's presidency...
(Image found on: EMaze) |
And speaking of presidents, past, present and future:
Both Obama and Trump made immediate announcements: Trump slams brutal dictator Fidel Castro, while Obama takes a softer approach
.
For the record, I like Trump's slam better.
In local news, the People's Democratic Republic of Seattle's propaganda paper, the Seattle Times, had this glowing headline:
Fidel Castro, Who Defied US for 50 Year, Dies at 90 in Cuba.
The Diplomad was far less charitable, hoping the dead dictator rots in Hell (RIH).
Since it's still the Thanksgiving Weekend, Fidel's final departure is something else we can all be thankful for. Too bad he didn't die earlier, like in 1959.
Wishful thinking aside, I suppose Castro's grizzled image will now be added with Che Guevara's...

...among the Commie Pantheon worshiped by t-shirt wearing lefty college students, and poster-brandishing leftist protesters.

Have a Squabble-Free Thanksgiving
Usually, I just post a happy greeting with a pleasant image on any given holiday.
However, emotions are still running high--mostly from leftists--over the presidential election.
Apparently, some leftists are so upset over Clinton's loss, they're nuking Turkey Day plans with pro-Trump family members.
Since Seattle is Washington State's blue bastion, many local leftists say their relationships have changed since Trump's election.
Wow. I'm shocked and appalled by this. I've never seen such post-election hostility--once again mostly from leftists--in my life.
Susan Stamper Brown suggests not to let the election ruin Thanksgiving, and think of all the things you have to be grateful for.
Brittany Hughes of MRCTV has similar advice: Take a break from hating each other and be thankful.
Best wishes to all of you this Thanksgiving.

The Hamilton Hypocrisy
Dystopic calls out the Social Justice Whiners (SJWs) for the Marxist intellectual posers (or poseurs) they are.
Proper spelling though doesn't stop the fun-sucking.
A few days ago VP-Elect Pence took his daughter to see the play Hamilton on Broadway. Instead of being able to enjoy the performance in peace, he got booed by the audience and then lectured by the cast.
I'm more irked about this than outraged. The cast, crew and audience certainly do have the right to speak their minds--even to an impending VP, which is one of the cool things that make America so great.
However, this incident illustrates urban elites just don't get it.
Nor was this past weekend's fun-sucking limited to Broadway. The American Music Awards (AMA) show featured a hostess mocking Melania Trump.
Is America's First
Maybe, maybe not. It depends on what the First Lady's done, or not done.
I've written several posts criticizing Michelle Obama; while in the pre-Internet Era, I verbally slammed just about everything then-First Lady Hillary did and said.
Melania may be next.
Greg Gutfeld put it best: Hamilton stars violated the terms of service.
Mark Steyn touches on today's political-social tribalism, along with the lethal variety that exists outside the Ramparts of Civilization in his Going Ape Over the Monkey article.
In any case, Kurt Schlichter advises us to brace ourselves for four years of non-stop freakoutrage.
Humor may be our best weapon against the SJWs, like this People's Cube post about Our Soon To Be Ex Dear Leader pardoning the Hamilton cast for cultural appropriation.

Little Has Been Learned
Hint--here's a formula for defeat: Demography does not = Destiny + Terrible Campaign Strategy.
Although another variable to add to the formula is Charisma.
I'm convinced that if the Pachyderm Parade (Republican Primary Candidates) came on in the same old style by offering-up a candidate other than the Boorish Billionaire, they would have been met "...in the same old style," and we'd be looking at a Clinton Restoration.
Since we avoided that fate, does this mean President-Elect Pussygrabber's Administration will be a four-year long victory parade?
Certainly not.
First of all; everyone I know--including myself--along with every commentator I read/watch have issues with Trump. For us like-minded folks, this election was our 476 AD Moment...
(Image found on: Emaze.com--Presentation-Name) |

So voters must remain vigilant, and maintain the "Ultimate Safe Space" for each and every election hereafter.
