Sacrificing for Subsidization

"You can't make an omlette without breaking some eggs."

When it comes to Obamacare, the "eggs" in this case are folks with enough money (according to government standards) who can subsidize others.  Nancy Pelosi is telling artists they can now quit their day job because their healtcare needs will be taken care of by everyone else.

A true redistribution system if there ever was one.

What a lot of folks who voted for Obama on the promise of "free" healthcare thought is the everybody else would be the "eggs."

Kurt Schlicter wrote a scathing editorial directed towards the Millenials who voted for their own serfdom

These stories generated a few comments among my friends, but I thought this was the best:

Schadenfreude is in overload right now.  Once the cancellations started surfacing, I knew they'd be the real story, not the website. The latter is embarassing and good fodder for jokes. The former is real people getting hammered.

Unlike the media (see previous post), I wonder if this will be enough to shake voters out of their complacency?
