Not Everyone Wants to Board the Dhimmi Express

 I didn't watch the GOP Debates on CNBC the other night.  It doesn't seem to have radically changed any of the candidates' standings, but has increased the disdain us like-minded folks have towards CNBC.

Instead of watching the debates, for the past couple of days I've been reading-up on Europe's crumbling Ramparts of Civilization. 

 

While Germany is determined to lead the rest of the EU down the Road of Decline, other countries are attempting to apply the brakes.

 

Poles went to the poles and said "nie" (no) to mass immigration by voting-in conservatives by a landslide.

 

And while Western European governments appear to be more concerned about their concerned citizens (see led image), rather than the No-Go Zones in their midst, as this Swedish journalist discovered; the not-everyone's-from-Syria "Syrian refugees" have learned to game the Euro-Welfare System.

Apparently, the young lads entering the Eurozone are all 17 years old, thus granting them the same status as German children.  (Mark Steyn also comments on the destruction of archeological sites, doubling as not-so Looney Tunes gallows).

Meanwhile, back on this side of the Atlantic, author Gwynne Dyer attempted to sound the "all-is-well" call among a sympathetic crowd in Toronto, Canada.  The problem was, he was matched-up with Farzana Hassan who rained on Gywnne's Dhimmi Parade and opposed his terrible advice for Muslim women panicking about ISIS.

Thanks to 24/7 news coverage, unbiased or otherwise, YouTube and social media, we're getting a glimpse of what the Muslim Conquests were really like, and exactly what Islam has to offer us non-Muslims.

A Firesale of Facts on Benghazi

One of the details revealed by the discovery of Hillary's secret server was that as the assault on our Benghazi consulate was unfolding, she confided to family and friends that it was a planned terrorist attack. 

As Sharyl Attkisson put it:  to Hillary, there are public facts and private facts.

While Hillary's appearance before the Benghazi Committee was proceeding, leftists started complaining how politicized the whole affair was.

To which, S.E. Cupp replies:  Yes, the Benghazi Hearings are political. So what?

And finally, at least for today's post, Mark Steyn closes the political-public vs. private facts-loop and reminds us that Hillary initiated the politicization of the Benghazi attack.

Even this late in the game, Hillary attempted to laugh off the late Chris Stevens' "entrepreneurial spirit."

She can laugh all she wants to (as long as she's not occupying the Oval Office), but Hillary owns the war in Libya.

First, a hopefully final note on the intrusion/hacking I reported in my last post. 

It looks like the Indonesian gambling spam, courtesy of Read List from "Thrillofadventure" has been purged from my blog's Read List.  I hope this hasn't affected any of my readers' systems.  Thank you for your patience.

Yesterday, Hillary's appearance before the Congressional Benghazi Committee dominated the news.

Townhall provided a live open thread throughout the day, as I'm sure other news agencies did. 

The tea leaves and auguries on what was said/what was meant will be read by commentators and political observers for days to come.

For now, we have Trey Gowdy's opening salvo and Hillary now claiming she didn't blame the Benghazi attack on a YouTube video.

Coexisting With Ticking Clocks

First a note on the possible hacking of my blog:

I haven't received any feedback from Google yet.  It appears that the Indonesian gambling sites listed in my Admin Page's Read List are being "phased out."  I'm hoping this means the password change has locked out any additional intrusions.  Nor do these sites appear anywhere on the reader's view of this blog and my own computer's anti-virus hasn't detected anything.  However, I can't guarantee that my blog is 100% clear.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The intrusion occurred shortly after I wrote this post last night...

Well Ahmed the Clock-That-Looks-Like-A-Bomb Maker finally got to see Our Dear Leader.  The good news is the kid and his family are moving to Qatar.

The clock's counting down on the Obama Presidency and Joe Biden is still being coy about whether or not he'll run.  But a source in Biden's Camp said I thinks it's fair to say something will break this week.

Whatever that means.  

At least Joe's may enter the race as opposed to the sanest Donkey Drove candidate, Jim Webb, who dropped out.

Meanwhile, in The Great White North, the clock ran out of Canada's Conservative Party as Justin Trudeau of the Liberal Party was elected Prime Minister. 

Here, south of the Great White Border, an election went awry.  Oh nothing high stakes, like a prime minister's position, just a middle school election in San Francisco.  Apparently, the school administration withheld the election results because the winners weren't "diverse enough." 

While election results in the New World are being analysed, back in the Old World Muslim migrants have brought their sexual pathologies with them.

So what does rapes and honor killings have to do with middle school and national elections?

The short answer is:  Critical issues aren't being reported by the mainstream media, while the PC Commissars revoke reasonable assumptions, like clocks that look like bombs, and middle school elections.

Possible Blogger Account Hack

I think my Blogger account has been hacked.

On my Blogger homepage there's usually a Reading List displaying the latest posts from the blogs I follow.

About an hour ago, instead of seeing other bloggers' activities, I now have a list of Indonesian gambling sites.

I filed a complaint to Google, which runs Blogger, along with initiating a password change.

I'm not tech savvy enough to determine whether reading any of my blogs will cause any virus or malware to be transferred, but I thought I'd transmit this warning.

I hope to get this resolved soon.

Please accept my apologies.

PC Commissars Constraining Free Speech

Last week, John Stossel hosted Censored in America on FOX News. 

I was able to watch the full episode, which should be available on-line in the upcoming days (weeks?).

Mark Steyn commented about his appearance on the show, and then goes on to expose a family of "warm-mongers" in his Mason-Dippin Line article.

Meanwhile, John Stossel added a warning about what we don't know (but need to) about censorship in the US.

The clamp-down on free speech doesn't have to be severe enough to make the headlines--at least on FOX News and on conservative websites.  One of my Facebook friends complained that a politically-charged post wasn't just deleted from her page, but also from the pages she found it on.

It's amazing how rants and snuff videos from our jihadi enemies manage to slip by the PC Commissars, but mild reproaches from centrists and conservatives are deemed unfit for social media.

But in the case of ISIS terrorists I'm happy to make an exception. 

 

Now every time I see footage of a terrorist enthusiastically waving an Islamic State flag, I'll think of this "translation."

 

Dems Dodged Details During Debate

As the week comes to a close, commentators are still reading the tea leaves stirred-up from Tuesday's Donkey Drove Debate. 

 

For those of us who aren't professional commentators, the Official DNC Debate Drinking Game, may be the only way to sit through any of the upcoming ones. 

 

There's plenty of articles on-line and TV news segments about the debates, but I'll only bore you with a couple that caught my interest.

 

The first is from Mona Charen, who explains why the Democratic Party is not for grown-ups (or "grups" for you fellow Star Trek fans).

 

Not only did this past debate avoid the grup concept of paying for Euro-sized social programs...but topics touching on foreign policy were avoided altogether.

The Missile of October

Well the ink isn't dry on Our Dear Leader's Nuke Deal with Iran, and the Iranian government has proven--again--to be untrustworthy.

Less than 18 hours ago, it was confirmed that Iran tested a nuclear capable ballistic missile, on 11 Oct. 

It makes me wonder if the adolescents running this country will ever understand there's a good reason why some countries are listed under the "Threat to Global Peace" column.

The Perils of Proxies in War

The situation in Syria highlights the moral hazard of proxy warfare. 

 

Apparently though, Cuba still has no moral qualms about being Russia's proxy in the Western Hemisphere. 

 

News of Cuban troops deploying to Syria began surfacing initially from the University of Miami, Cuban and Cuban-American Studies, and then picked up by FOX News followed by UPI.

 

So much for Our Dear Leader's normalization with Cuba.

Dem Debate Winner

 

I spent yesterday reading through several articles on Tuesday night's Donkey Drove Debate. 

 

So far, the majority opinion is that Hillary was considered the winner.

 

Mark Steyn noted that none of the beta-males took on the debate's alpha-female.

 

The Diplomad made similar comment:  "...it was as if they all resigned themselves to her winning the nomination."

 

But even though Hillary outclassed her lame and/or loony rivals, the Democrat base is still wild about Bernie.

 

 

And next to climate change, the #1 national security threat to the Democratic base is:  The NRA. 

 

Since the Democrats have no qualms about upsetting gun-owning voters, Ann Coulter suggests Republicans stop wasting their time courting Hispanics since Hispanics won't vote for Republicans anyway.

 

Dems "Missing Man Formation" at Tonight's Debate?

Well, in less than two hours, the Donkey Drove will stage their first debate.  CNN says there's six things to watch.

As far as I'm concerned there's zero things to watch, because I plan on being off-line and away from the television by then.

Oh, I know I should listen to what they have to say, even for the sake of "knowing your opponent."

But since I have no intention on voting for any of them, I'd rather read and watch the follow-up highlights in bite-sized nuggets that will be aired and posted, starting tomorrow through this weekend, at least.

The Diplomad, on the other hand, plans on having his popcorn ready.

Meanwhile, the buzz about whether or not Biden runs continues even at this late hour..

It wouldn't surprise me if Biden's delayed decision is a deliberate attempt to make the buffoonish VP look like Cincinnatus leaving his plow to save Rome.

Collaboration of Enemies?

Well the Russians might claim they're targeting ISIS with airstrikes, but apparently ISIS didn't get the memo.

Yesterday, ISIS launched a surprise offensive, reportedly the biggest in months. 

Despite ISIS's attack, Russian warplanes continue to fly in support of Assad's loyal forces.  One motive behind this:  Getting payback for NATO's war against Libya. 

With the "bush war" in Syria flaring up, it looks like the Cold War has returned--or it could be something worse. 

A return to 1938, maybe?  A couple of friends compared the Syrian Civil War with the Spanish

The Military Times takes a look at what a war between the US and Russia would look like.

While the folks at The Military Times are confident in America's military might, Russia may not be acting alone for long.

It appears that China may be preparing to "team up" with Russia in Syria.

Whether or not Russia and China are in cahoots, or simply working independently of each other, and if we're in the midst of Cold War II, the 80's--or even the 30's--appear to be staging a come-back.

This past week, leftists intensified their squawking about gun control.

 

Meanwhile, Russian fighters initially shadowed US drones, then stepped up their game by causing US fighters to divert from their missions, for control of the skies over Syria.

 Nor were airstrikes the only tactic Russia employed.  Missile strikes were launched from Russian naval vessels in the Caspian Sea.

 

Apparently, four cruise missiles veered off course and landed in Iran, but Russia and Iran deny this.

Taking advantage of Russian air support, Syrian forces launched a ground offensive.

 

Even the non-FOX News organizations appear to agree that Russia's involvement in Syria is to prop-up Assad, as opposed to fighting ISIS.  However, they fall short of criticizing Obama's foreign policy decisions that's facilitated the current situation.

 

Mark Steyn doesn't hold back about the Bear in the Sand, while Linda Chavez warns us about Russia's threat, and reminds us of shifting alliances, even among an "anti-Hitler Coalition."

The Tiresome Trajectory of the Mass Shooting in Oregon

I've been off-duty for several days, and spent most of my time off the internet.

Oh, I scanned the headlines each morning, and I could have taken a moment to post something about the mass shooting that occurred on Umpqua Community College, OR, nine days ago.

I didn't comment on this earlier, because I noticed from the headlines, along with the laments and rants from leftist acquaintance's on Facebook, the narrative followed the same tiresome trajectory from previous mass shootings:

Blame guns

Blame law-abiding gun owners

Blame gun-rights advocacy groups (primarily the NRA)

Lather, Rinse and Repeat.

An instructor at a terrorism seminar I attended equated "Gun Free Zones" to watering holes in the animal kingdom.  That is, any place animals gather to drink water, predators also gather to stalk their prey.

"Gun Free Zones" fail to take into account the predatory nature of the criminal (and/or insane) mind.  Such individuals feel certain they'll be confronted by un-armed herd.

Looking back at the shooting itself:  The gunman was quickly identified (and thankfully killed by police), and the following day the names of the victims were released.  One man, ex-Army vet, Chirs Mintz, rushed the gunman and was shot five times.

Of course, all this got lost in the leftist narrative, starting with Obama's statements.

Conservatives haven't been idle and have came out swinging.

The Diplomad called this incident More Days of Progressive Insanity.

Ann Coulter reminds us the problem isn't guns or white men, while Mark Steyn points out mentioned the shooting of a police accountant by a 15 year old jihadist in "gun free" Australia.

Erik Erickson shows us what common sense gun control looks like.

Finally, S.E. Cupp suggests Democrats actually work with the NRA to pass sensible laws.

Otherwise, any supposed gun control laws will be as effective as this:

Russia to the "Rescue" in Syria

 Yesterday, news broke that Russia launched airstrikes against Syrian rebels--but not against ISIS. 

Of course, at one point the Russians claimed they WERE bombing ISIS targets.

Now, Russian and American militaries are attempting to hold talks "as soon as possible" about airstrikes.

Most of us like-minded folks won't be surprised if "incident" between American and the Russians occur somewhere over the skies of Syria.
