Some People Did Something to Easter Worshipers in Sri Lanka

On Easter Sunday, terrorist bombings struck several sites throughout Columbo, Sri Lanka.

I'll come back around to this later, because here in the US, another one of Ungrateful Omar's comments were unearthed this week.

This one dated back to 2017 in regards to the Battle of Mogadishu.  The ordeal American soldiers faced on that day were vividly captured both in the book Blackhawk Down and the film.

Sergeant Major Kyle Lamb (Retired) wrote a belatedly eloquent rebuttal to Ungrateful Omar's two year old tweet.

I feel justified in nicknaming Ilhan Omar as "Ungrateful Omar," because as Tucker Carlson asks, why is Omar so ungrateful to the country that saved her?

As far as I know, she hadn't commented about the latest terrorist attack, which ISIS claimed responsibility for.

Normally, I'd be willing to let someone's past comments slide, especially if they're contrite about it later.

But we don't live in a normal world.  Today, we live in Clown World, where a number (all?) of the Democrats have gone "full Marxist" and consider yearbook entries as State's Evidence against you.

Based on her current attitude, and previous comments, it's safe to assume that even if she doesn't make a "Some People Did Something, Part II" statement, she's probably thinking of it.

Lauren Chen discussed why Christian persecution is ignored.

And speaking of ignoring Christian persecution:  While Barry O may be out of office, and Crooked Queen Clinton didn't get coronated, thanks to Trump the Usurper, that didn't stop them from demonstrating their penchant for employing newspeak to terrorist attacks.

Now the term "Christian" is being cast down the Memory Hole.

I wish I could say this was surprising.

But ever since the 9/11 attacks our government, mostly Democrats but even a number of Republicans, want to whitewash the true nature of our jihadist enemies.

Tammy Bruce discussed how the language of the left avoids real discussions of terror, while Paul Joseph Watson also chimed-in against the whitewashing.

Well, despite the Left's latest attempt to alter the meaning of words--again--my thoughts and prayers go out to the Christian victims and their families.

Notre Dame Fire and Aftermath

I woke up Monday afternoon to get ready for my night shift, only to discover the Notre Dame Cathedral was ablaze.

I've never been to Paris, but like many people, I know the city's landmarks.  And it broke my heart to see this historic church burn.

Speculation was running high as to the cause, especially since last year 875 catholic churches were vandalized.

I didn't hear this tidbit prior to the Notre Dame fire, but I remained suspicious.  Meanwhile, many folks here in America were saddened to see such a loss, if not as a Christian icon, but at least as a bit of cultural history.

Well, most people anyway.

Paul Joseph Watson's video on the subject reveals many folks--mostly jihadists and leftists--were happy to see the great cathedral burn.  (This was actually a rebuttal to Buzzfeed's accusation of PJW spreading a hoax).

Rebel Media's Martina Markota deployed to Paris for some on-scene reporting and produced several short videos, touching on the topics of historical loss and possible causes for the blaze.

The Notre Dame fire has also been seen as a metaphor for Western Civilization's moral decay.  Mark Steyn expounded on this theme in his Fire and Faith article.

There's already a cabal of architects and historians that want to see Notre Dame rebuilt--but without being "overburdened" with Christian meaning.

Mon Dieu, indeed.

It was Comrade Karla who brought this issue to my attention.  My response was: 

I would rather see Notre Dame left alone as a ruin than have it turned into some PC/SJW-approved structure.

While the Battle of Notre Dame is currently a minor skirmish--so far--the good news in all this was no one was hurt, or killed and people put their lives at risk to save priceless artifacts.  Within hours of the fire making world-wide headlines, donations flooded-in, reaching the $700 million mark before the next news cycle.  (I didn't know was that the cathedral was in dire need of renovation in the first place).

Yesterday, French officials said the likely cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.

After years of citizens on both sides of the Atlantic being subjected to fake news and suppressed news, do I believe their conclusions, especially since officials were quick to dismiss terrorism or vandalism?

For the most part.

I have to have faith in the belief this was truly an accident, especially since it's Easter Weekend...

...but I'll still keep my suspicions in the back of my mind.

Omar & Her Allies Gloss-Over 9/11

Members of Congress--from both parties--have been known to say stupid stuff.  Some more so than others.

But earlier this week, we heard Congresswoman Ilhan Ungrateful Omar refer to the 9/11 attack merely as "some people did something."

The New York Post nailed it with their headline:  Here's Your Something.

And of course this triggered Snowflake Marxists like Commissar Cortez into defending Ilhan Ungrateful, while while her fellowette Quisling Rashida "Taliban" Tlaib said Ilhan was merely speaking "truth to power.".

And Ilhan Ungrateful continues to double down, even claiming Dubya downplayed the attack--while standing on the rubble of the World Trade Center.

We all know the libtard playbook by now.

When a conservative criticizes the craziness on the left, they're denounced as--

--Racist
--Misogynist
--Xenophobic
--Homophobic
--Islamophobic
--Any of the Above
--All of the Above

This latest brew-up is no exception.

Even when someone like Congressman Dan Crenshaw (the real "Nick Fury") quotes her exact words--he's condemned for "inciting violence."  At least in a rare moment, the denizens of Twitter came to Crenshaw's defense.

The Amazing Lucas called Omar problematic, while Brittany Hughes called her out on her latest Reality Check.

Guy Benson felt Ungrateful Omar's defenses and counter-attacks are worse than her 9/11 comment.

More of Omar's "speaking truth to Infidels" is coming to light, but I wanted to post this before the week is out.

I hope by the time her term in office is at an end her district's voters will "do something" ballot-wise to ensure her first term will be her last.
