Our Part-Time President

A couple days ago, the news broke that Our Dear Leader missed over half of his daily intelligence briefings. 

I'm sure Obama never was late, let alone missed, a tee time.

Of course, the minions of the Ministry of Truth (non-FOX News agencies), like the Washington "Compost" and Media (Doesn't) Matters have been quick to defend their Anointed One.  (You can bet they'll do the same if Hillary is elected in 2016).

Now to be fair, the Obama defenders have a small point.  That with today's personal devices, computer technology and communications, today's chief executive can get almost real-time intelligence feeds--even when he's on the golf course.

However, as leftists know darn well--perceptions matter.  (Dubya is still getting flak for sitting through a grade school event as the September 11th attacks unfolded).

In the six years--and counting--of the Obama presidency, voters, even a growing number of Democrats, have the impression that Our Golfer in Chief has acted as if all the troubles plaguing our nation are beneath his notice.

It's as if we have a ghost in the White House. 

Then, when Our Phantasm in Chief is caught flat-footed on something, there's scapegoats handy to shift the blame...
