"Success" in a Burning World

The world is heating up--and it has nothing to do with the climate.

 

Yesterday, Obama's Media Minion assured us that defeating ISIS will take time.

 

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing on other fronts.

 

A USN surveillance aircraft received eight warnings from the Chinese Navy as it approached the island being built in the South China Sea.

Nor is China the only authoritarian power flexing its muscle.  Russia closed NATO's cargo transit route to Afghanistan.  And there's a growing concern that the Bare-Chested Czar may launch an offensive against Ukraine this summer.

 

So when Our Dear Leader addressed the graduates of the US Coast Guard Academy, did he mention any of these looming threats?

 

Nope.

 

Instead he "cried havoc and let slip the dogs of global warming."
