It's sad to see a top-notch military force hamstrung by political squeemishness. Earlier yesterday, Israel announced a unilateral ceasefire. The "usual suspects" have stirred up trouble, even here in Seattle, as pictured here from this Seattle Times photo.Most westerners see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as two hot-headed cultures having gross misunderstandings which lead to the "cycle of violence.
"What these same folks don't realize that Hamas's charter, and I believe Hezbollah's too, call for the destruction of Israel. That would be like our US Constitution calling for the elimination of the "Anglo Entity," otherwise known as Canada.
