Sequestration Skyfall

While I was enjoying myself at a convention, the sky supposedly fell on March 1st as the dreaded sequestration took effect.

Well the wheels on the government bus didn't fall off.  Michelle Malkin calls out some of the Sequester Jesters for bending some of the facts.

Meanwhile, This Ain't Hell...lambastes those in and around the beltway for "feeling the pinch" of the sequestration.

And Comarade Karla claims he has a front row view of the Post-Sequestration Wasteland from his office...

...along with this "dire" narrative:

Thinks are grim here….we’ve already started saving our urine so we’ll have something to drink and are researching recipes for how to cook our pets.  We could hear screams and the crackle of rifle fire this morning.

Then there's the Chicks on the Right with their Skyfall parody

I received several articles via e-mail on how mean-spirited Obama's sequestration truly is, but at the moment I can't find them.  In the meantime, despite the fear-mongering it's business as usual inside the beltway.

Stay tuned though, for more sequester silliness and seriousness...

  1. Maybe if we multiplied the sequestration by ten, there might be a moan or two from the federal bureaucracy, but nothing more. We should be eliminating entire departments.
