Breaking News: Murder-Suicide on Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM)

I work near JBLM, but have been off-duty due to a cold.  At around noon I got an automated voice-message, which I swear initially said "This is an exercise..."  Then it went on to describe an active shooter in the area and police were responding.

Later, I read the text messages, which opened with:  "This is not an exercise..."

I thought someone may have messed up the text messages and e-mail alerts, because I couldn't find anything on the local websites.

Finally, I came across KIRO-7's Breaking News of an apparent murder-suicide at the JBLM main Post Exchange (PX).
