Greece's Grace Period is Gone

At the time I wrote this post, Greece's financial bailout expired. 

 

But here in the US, it seems like few are paying attention.

 

Too busy celebrating the SCOTUS decision on same-sex marriage and shoving the Stars and Bars down the Memory Hole, I guess.

 

Mark Steyn deftly ties both topics together in his article: Big Fat Greeks and Weddings.

 

The unfolding "Greek Tragedy" bears watching.

 

How events pan out could be an indicator on what lies ahead.  The Big Fat Caveat to this is:  Our national debt dwarfs that of Greece. 

 

If America were to go into default, who would bail us out?
