ISIS = Nazis

Actually, ISIS "...are fast-track Nazis."

ISIS has also borrowed a page from the Boko Haram Playbook by kidnapping hundreds of Yazidi women.

For a supposedly rag-tag group of terrorists, they've also managed to capture some of Iraq's key infrastructure.

Our Dear Leader's response to all this?

A handful of airstrikes and supply air drops.

Act of Proscription Redux?

(Image from Bill Spivey's website)

Okay, so the Act of Proscription (1746) didn't quite ban bagpipes per se.

Nor does the US Constitution, despite the fact that a good number Scottish settlers were either Loyalists, or sat out the American War of Independence.

Apparently the US Custom & Border Patrol (CBP) didn't get the memo.

Last weekend, two New Hampshire teens had their bagpipes confiscated, one a family heirloom, and despite having the proper paperwork.

Fortunately, thanks to an on-line petition, the pipes were returned within a couple of days.

But it shouldn't have happened in the first place.  Especially, when major events like the Annual Pacific Northwest Highland Games and Clan Gathering  has been going on for 68 years now.  (I missed this year's dammit!).

This really gets my Highland-descendant blood boiling.  (Both the seizure of the teens' bagpipes and missing the Highland Games).

True, there are "bigger" issues going on in our country and around the world.  But as Mark Steyn's article pointed out, it's an assault against bake sales and lemonade stands as well.

In short--an assault against liberty.

On Mark's Facebook page, I suggested folks driving through the US-Canadian Check Point Charlies play bagpipe music on their CD players/iPods, etc.

Maybe even flash mobs like this are in order to entertain the border guards.

UNRWA = HAMAS

Have you ever wondered how the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA) manages to always get it's facilities target by the Israeli military?

That's because UNRWA is the hand that feeds Palestinian terrorists.

Or "better" yet:  The UNRWA is Hamas.

Missing Girl's Body Found

Well, this search certainly ended on a sad note.

The body of the missing Bremerton girl was found this morning.

Now the criminal investigation begins in earnest.

Colonization and Orwellian Doublespeak

Several days ago, Daniel Greenfield (aka "Sultan Knish"), wrote a very thought provoking piece on our illegal immigration crisis.

Know your military colonists the good sultan warns.

A lot of us refer to the flood of illegal aliens as an invasion.

According to Sultan Knish, it's worse than that:  We are being colonized.

Most of, if not all, of these "military colonists," neglect or outright refuse, to be integrated into American society.  Thereby establishing a colony of their own within our midst.

Then there is our Bureaucratic and Big Business Ruling Class that are actually aiding and abetting the colonists.

This puts an Orwellian spin on illegal immigration.

Remember:  Harry Reid said the Border is secure...

Still in the Shadow of The Great War

Last night, Mark Steyn posted an article describing how the long shadow of The Great War extends 100 years later into Gaza.

I read Mark Steyn regularly, because I like his glib style, and more importantly, the way he manages to connect the dots that "reporters," like Erika Stark of the Calgary Herald refuse to do.

When I read Erika's original piece, the "silent vigil", and compared it to what BC Blue posted, I'd swear there were two different demonstrations going on.

It's amazing what PC googles, coupled with newspeak will do.

Search for Missing 6 Year-Old Girl Continues

Since Monday morning my agency, the Washington State Emergency Management Division, has been helping coordinate Search and Rescue (SAR) assets for a missing 6 year old girl.

Our collective "Spider Senses" were tingling right away, because the nature of the girl's disappearance was odd.

We're not the only ones who think so.  Yesterday, the FBI and child abduction experts joined the search.

This is never a good sign, as the we're now on Day 3 of the search and still getting requests for SAR assets.

We hope and pray the girl is found alive & well.

American General Killed in Afghanistan Identified

Major General Harold Greene was killed and 17 others wounded the other day by a shooter in an Afghan Army uniform.

Many are concerned this will be a harbinger of more chaos to follow after our exit strategy is fully implemented.

Hamas' Chicken-Man Gets His 72 Chicks

(Image from:  Al-Aqsa TV)
Well it looks like Hamas lost a key asset last week.

The character "Karkour," from the Al-Aqsa show Tomorrow's Pioneers, was apparently killed in an Israeli air strike.

Oh well.

He should be happy now that he's resting in collective bosom of his 72 virgins.

Or well he?

Maybe this will be better...

Good luck with your seventy-twosome Karkour!

Shocking News for DOS: Hamas Using Civilian Areas

Apparently our Department of State (DOS) didn't get the memo that Hamas has been using civilian buildings for military purposes.

Notice how DOS Mouthpiece Psaki avoided answering the question?

Either:

a. She was ignorant of this fact, or

b. She's choosing to ignore this fact

Whatever the reason, this practically confirms that our foreign policy is in the hands of amateurs clinging to their left-wing ideology.

These same amateurs, along with their media minions consider Israel's attempts at defending it's citizens to be indiscriminate, and demand they cease & desist.

Meanwhile, Sultan Knish takes a swipe at the lead-from-behind/cease-fire mentality.
