Leftists Triggered by Trump's Transgender Tweets

Well, a few days ago Our Drunk Dialer in-Chief triggered leftists nation-wide when he tweeted that the US government would not "...accept or allow...Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. military."

And as usual with Trump's tweets, the rest of his administration is trying to catch up.  In this case, the Joint Chiefs of Staff said there'll be no changes on transgender policy until the White House issues guidance.

The Great White North's Ministry of Defense responded that they'll promote the recruitment of transgender troops.

No word yet from any of the Muslim countries on whether or not they'll allow transgender individuals to join their respective military forces.

Now before I continue on, I'd like to state that I have a shred of insight on Gender Dysphoria (formerly known as Gender Identity Disorder).  I was raised by a high-strung and high maintenance mother; while later in my first marriage, I discovered that my first ex wife hated being a woman.  She was convinced God specifically cursed her to toil-out her days here on earth as a woman.

So I know what it's like to live in close quarters with someone who despises the gender they were born as.  This was actually the least of my issues with her.

Throughout my upbringing, and Hell-on-Earth first marriage, along with my depressing second marriage I've spent most of my life imagining I was someplace else, with someone else, and even being someone else. Which probably explains, in part, my interest in speculative fiction, wargames, roleplaying games and dressing up as action-adventure heroes during comic book conventions.

As a retired military member though, I would never think of overturning our military norms and traditions to cater to whatever my identity crisis flights of fancy took me.  I view Sex Reassignment Surgery as an extensive form of cosmetic surgery that allows one to LARP through life.

The U.S. military has one job, and one job only:  To wage war against our nation's enemies.  Or as my military buddies and I like to say--to kill bad guys and break their toys.

It shouldn't be a test-bed for leftists social engineering experiments.

Try that on our professional and Olympic sports teams first, and see how that turns out, before you send our men and women into harms way.

I'm not the only one who thinks this way.  According to a Rasmussen poll conducted last month, 23% thought having transgenders in the military was a good idea, while it was nearly divided between "bad" and "no impact."

I could ramble on about this, but I'll let Gavin McInnes do it--in drag even.

And finally I'll leave it to this wounded warrior, referenced in Gavin's video, who explained Trump's transgender ban in one incredible Tweet thread.

Mark Steyn Video: Wasserman Schultz Scandal Is Media's Russian Dream

On Monday, a story broke that the Ministry of Truth has ignored:  Debbie Wasserman Schultz's aide was arrested trying to flee the country.

In addition to the above FOX News video, Mark Steyn wrote extensively about this flight and fancy.

He also did a stint on FOX & Friends.

Meanwhile, the RussiaRussiaRussia "SQUIRREL!" hunt continues...

Tragedy for Illegal Immigrants in Texas

One of the reasons why I'm against illegal  immigration is because more often than not, migrants fall victims to human predators.

Earlier this week, 10 migrants died in a mobile Black Hole of Calcutta en-route to San Antonio, TX.

Normally, I hate politicizing tragedies, but I'm all in favor of the call to shut down sanctuary cities.

The Dems Dumb Slogan

Last week, in an attempt to stop their election hemorrhaging, the Democrats trotted out a new slogan.

Which underwhelmed everyone--even their BFFs (Best Friends Forever) at MSNBC.

Let's hope the Donkey Drove continues to under-perform--and the Pachyderm Parade gets it's act together.

The Ministry of Truth's Meltdown

("Then" image by Dixon Diaz found on Pintrest)
Ever since Barry O got elected, us like-minded folks realized the media wasn't as unbiased as they claimed--and still claim to be (like Katie Couric)--to be.

Sarah Hoyt makes a point that the media never was and has always attempted to control the narrative (and our thoughts).

Since 2009, journalists have been openly acting more like minions from Orwell's Ministry of Truth, or like employees from the public relations (PR) firm for the Democratic Party.

VDH wrote this spot-on article detailing America's media meltdown.

Disintegrating Western Civilization Through Diversity

A week ago, Justine Damond, an Australian national, was shot by officer Mohammed Noor of the Minneapolis PD.  A couple days later, it was reported Justine called 911 to report a possible sexual assault, while the Noor and his partner claim they were startled by a loud noise. An investigation has been underway, but there's still more questions than answers to a shooting that should not have happened.

Here's what didn't happen last week:  Instantaneous national coverage and outrage by national news agencies and activist groups.

I first saw this story pop up on a couple of conservative websites I don't usually frequent.  Then it appeared on FOX News, followed by all the rest.

National activist groups didn't mobilize, which is probably a good thing.  Rachel Alexander called-out Black Lives Matter for their obsession with supposed racism.  However, local protesters interrupted the Minneapolis mayors' news conference.

Although, since the shooting other tidbits of disparate information has come to light.  Like this is the second time Officer Noor has run afoul of the citizenry, while Herhonor Hodges of Minneapolis has been drinking the multi-cultural flavored cool-aid telling everyone to "embrace the discomfort of transformation."

Mark Steyn masterfully connects the dots of such disparate details such as "migratory birds" in Europe with police-involved shootings in America, and comes up with a common denominator in his Diversity and Disintegration article.

And that common denominator is, as Paul Joseph Watson pointed out in his video Some Cultures Are Better Than Others everyone on the planet wants to move to the west, but they "...want to bring the worst aspects of their own culture with them..."

SteynPost #18 Video: The Biggest Issue of Our Time

The news networks and politicians are still blathering about the GOP's inability to repeal & replace Obamacare, or Our Grand Nagus' collusion with the Barechested Czar.

Or both.

Meanwhile, just about everyone is ignoring what Mark Steyn calls the Biggest Issue of Our Time.  That is, the declining population throughout Western Civilization, especially in Europe.

This actually isn't new news.  Comrade Karla introduced me to Mark Steyn's work, along with a slew of other conservative commentators, in and around the time of the September 11th Attack.

Right from the get-go, Mark's been the proverbial voice in the wilderness about the changing demographics of Europe and America.  Or as he likes to call himself--a Demographic Bore.

Boring or otherwise, Mark has been asking non-politically correct questions about these changes for well over a decade.   Primarily:  Will a culture remain the same once the immigrant population from foreign cultures outnumber the long-time locals.

It's now being referred to as The Great Replacement, as Lauren Southern discusses in this video.

As both Lauren and Mark have stressed, none of us like-minded folks have any qualms about newcomers legally becoming residents and full-fledged citizens.

It's when these newcomers want to drag their bad old ideas along with them that's the problem.

Obamacare Repeal Bill Collapsed

Well the big news yesterday was the GOP's attempt to pass their Repeal Obamacare Now--Replace Later Bill crashed and burned.

Our Grand Nagus expressed his disappointment, and has attempted to wash his hands of the matter by declaring "...we're going to let Obamacare collapse..."

Greg Gutfeld does a good job of comparing the complexity of Obamacare to a TV remote.

I only use a few buttons on my TV remote too.  And as far as Barry O's campaign promise, I've been lucky enough to "keep my doctor" under Obamacare, but that doesn't mean I've liked it.  I resent having to report to the IRS that I do indeed have healthcare, lest I get fined.

Barry O and the Democrats ramrodded Obamacare upon us.  However, I don't think Trump and the Republicans will get away consequence-free.  They were voted into office, in part, on their campaign promises of repealing Obamacare.   But if polls are to be believed, most Americans don't want Obamacare messed with.

Next year's midterm elections should prove interesting, to say the least.

FOX Video: Gutfeld--You Want Collusion, Media? You Invented It

Gregg Gutfled colludes with Mark Steyn in calling-out the Ministry of Truth's reluctance to investigate any scandals perpetrated by Hillary or Obama, but pursue their RussiaRussiaRussia obsession with Trump.

The RussiaRussiaRussia Obsession

Throughout last week, CNN, along with every other leftist news network, was in hot pursuit of the White Whale Russian Obsession.

What's helping fan the flames of obsession is that there's now apparently some evidence of collusion by Grand Nagus Junior (how-ever...).

Collusion or not, it's another breathless cry by leftists we have totally got Trump! Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Mark Steyn had a couple of entertaining takes on this.  First, on Tucker Carlon's show with his Azerbaijani Sunshine on CNN Shoulder, followed-up by his Chancers and Honeytraps on Fox and Friends.

Of course, past collusions have been absolved, or forgotten about.

The Diplomad, with the help of Scott McKay at the American Spectator, believe the Grand Nagus Junior's Collusion was a set up by the Barry O Administration.

Possibly.

This certainly raises more questions about how the shady Russian rogues managed to set up the Smoking Gun Meeting--under Barry O's watch.

Even so, Ben Shapiro asks:  What if there's no Trump-Putin conspiracy?

Now I don't mean to sound like a Grand Nagus apologist, or cavalier about our political ruling class hobnobbing with disreputable foreigners (or disreputable Americans for that matter).

Until there's some "there there," such as discovering a secret server stashed in Trump Tower circumventing national security protocols, I'm not getting bent around the axle over this "parade of phony scandals."

Unless they're definitively proven otherwise.

Obamacare Replacement's Third Rail

This past week, Congressional Republicans have been trying to hash-out Obamacare 2.0.

Unlike other subjects I've added my $0.02 worth of blog-fodder to, I've shied away from the Republicans repeated and inept attempts to repeal & replace Obamacare.

I knew once it was grafted to the US Economy it would be damn-near impossible to excise it--and it would be a political third rail for Congressional Republicans.

This of course, has led to a lot of Republican in-fighting.  Rand Paul vowed he won't vote for Obamacare Lite.

Whatever the end-game in all this, I'm sure a sizable--and vocal--number of people won't be happy with the result.

And the Republicans will get all the blame.

Good Grammar Declared Racist

(Image found on YouTube video Understanding the Culture University of Tacoma Washington Says Grammar Is Racist)
A couple days ago, Comrade Karla notified us that the University of Washington, Tacoma Campus' Writing Center declared good grammar was racist.

Unfortunately this kind of stupidity isn't new, just new to Washington State's campuses. Gregg Gutfeld responded to the Guardian's (UK) similar claim several months ago.

An on-line friend wondered if we've been invaded by aliens.  I responded that an alien invasion would remove the stigma that humans can't be this stupid.

At least we have a new banner to wave in front of the Social Justice Whiners...

The Trump-Putin G-20 Postscript

Last week Our Grand Nagus attended the G-20 Summit, and chatted with Russia's Bare-Chested Czar.  Which, of course, is proof-positive of Trump's collusion with Putin.

The the pearl-clutching press took a minor detour in their Russian Narrative to criticize Trump's opening words in Warsaw, Poland; which by all accounts of like-minded folks, was an inspirational speech.

Well, inspiring to those of us who don't hate Western Civilization; like Jeff Zeleny, who thinks it was some White America, America First racist rant.

Then there's folks like Brad Woodhouse, who claim Trump was tooting on his dog whistle to us white nationalists.

But as James Taranto, via Mark Styen's Lutey Tunes article, observes:  "...if you can hear the dog whistle, you're the dog."

So while the Ministry of Truth continues to spin its Russia-Russia-Russia Cycle...

...the rest of us like-minded folks are trying to change the channel...

FOX News Video: Bolling--Do Us A Favor and Don't Come Back, Mayor de Blasio

It looks like Hizzoner of the Big Apple followed a page right out of the Obama Playbook.

When your presence is needed to assure American citizens:  Be somewhere else, like the golf course, a fundraiser--or in De Blasio's case--jetting-off to Germany to hang out with your protestor pals at last week's G-20 Summit Meeting.

Let's hope New Yorkers turn out in droves for the next election and shitcan De Blasio's political aspirations.

Better yet, Hizzoner should heed the NY Post's front page recommendation:

Corleone News Network--The Most Distrusted Name in News

Yesterday, I posted about what the local media in the Seattle,WA area wasn't discussing.

Today will be a round-up of a news agency  too far.  That is, the Case of CNN (now being referred to as the Coreleone News Network) which tracked down the supposed creator of the "Trump vs CNN" tweet and issued a veiled threat against him.

The Roaming Millennial gives an excellent rundown of #CNNBlackmail

While the CNN hosts were thrilled over the discovery of the identity of HanAssholeSolo, Senator Cruz wondered if CNN broke Georgia state laws.

Whether or not CNN violated the letter of any law, Greg Gutfeld said they screwed up (again).

Mark Steyn quipped it was as if Wolf Blitzer put a horse's head in some guy's bed.

Of course, CNN's thin-skinned and thuggish behavior has left them wide open for well-deserved ridicule.

Paul Joseph Watson produced the Ultimate Trump vs. CNN Meme Compilation for your viewing pleasure.

FOX News Video: Gutfeld--Seattle's Minimum Wage Hike Failures

Not only is the minimum wage hike not turning the People's Democratic Republic of Seattle into a Workers' Paradise as the city's Politburo promised, but it appears that Chairman Murray attempted to preempt a University of Washington study critical of the wage hike.

And in a case of the "dog that didn't bark," a coworker and I haven't found any of this on any local news sources.  We stumbled across these stories on conservative-ish news sites.

Oh, these stories may be somewhere on local news outlets, and if I were a paid journalist it would be my job to find them.

But as a citizen blogger, I shouldn't have to ferret-out news and information impacting the community I live in, or commute to.

It's Good to be the Governor

Here in Washington State, we narrowly averted a government shutdown--again--before the Independence Day Weekend.  (Two years ago, we averted a state government shutdown over the bi-annual budget).

Apparently, the citizens of the Garden State weren't so lucky.  The state government shut down started on Friday (30 June) and wasn't resolved until Monday, (3 July) when Governor Chris Christie signed a budget deal.

Ah, but in a great example of It's good to be the King,  Christie--and his family--were spotted on a beach--a public beach closed to the rest of the Jersey serfs over the weekend due to the government shut down.

Maybe Christie needed the solitude to ponder why he didn't get the Republican Party nomination during the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

FOX News Video: Gutfeld--World Hatred Of Trump Is Their Problem, Not Ours

I thought I'd take a moment to give my fellow Americans something else to celebrate this upcoming Independence Day:  Apparently, the world hates Our Grand Nagus.

Glad to hear it.

To piggy-back off what Greg and his cohorts said:  Trump is the President of the United States--not the world's student body president.

It's also funny how people from all over the world are trying to come to America--by hook, or by crook--even when governed by Republican presidents.

CNN's Credibility in the Crapper

In case you had any doubt, CNN producer, Jimmy Carr, thinks American voters are stupid as shit.

He's not the only one in any left-leaning newsroom to think so.

Knowing elite leftists hate our guts makes it hard to be upset over Our Drunk Dailer in-Chief's latest Twitter tussle with leftist activists-in-journalistic clothing.

As most of the panelists on The Five pointed out, the media doesn't have a moral leg to stand on.

James O'Keefe goes even further, calling CNN America's Pravda (he's now on part 3 in a video series).

Mark Steyn glibly observed that the network's interview with Sesame Street's Elmo was the least nutty thing CNN did all week.

The irony in all this is CNN's credibility crisis merely confirmed what many of us already knew, or at least suspected.  Just check out the comments in any online video of this subject.
