Trepidation Over "Trumpler's" Immigration Order

The hue & cry over Tyrant Trump's "immigration ban" continued past the weekend.

Steven Collinson of CNN claimed the EO (executive order) fundamentally changes American history.

If so, then it's an aftershock of Barry O's "Hope and Change."

First, it's not a Muslim ban.

And second, yes, the executive order on immigration is legal.

Here in the People's Democratic Republic of Washington State, our attorney general (AG) filed a lawsuit against Trump's immigration EO

Apparently, our AG didn't get the memo of Barry O's similar EO back in 2015.

William Jacobson wrote a detailed analysis on how most claims about Trump's visa EO are false or misleading.

So maybe our AG is examining alternate facts, or reading fake news.

Either way, I remember seeing this in-reverse during the Dubya--Barry O regime change in 09.  That is, any of the hated policies Bush instituted, suddenly became okay when Obama continued them after Inauguration Day 09.

Here's my reply to a friend's post on Facebook:

What a Republican president does is evil, will trigger WWIII, and will cause an Extinction Level Event. But when a Democrat does something similar, if not the same thing, it's enlightened policy that will bring peace and prosperity to the world.

But to leftists, as Comrade Karla said, the sky is falling.  They seem to have forgotten that their Dear Leader Obama signed a bunch of executive orders and all was well with their world.

Trump's now putting his "pen & phone" to use and suddenly it's Springtime for Hitler and Amerika.

Speaking of Der Fuhrer, Dilbert creator, Scott Adams, warns:

Be careful what you wish for (especially if it's Hitler).

Meltdowns Over Immigration Mandate

A few days ago, Trump the Tyrant of the Imperial States of the First Order, signed an executive order calling for the improved vetting of immigrants coming from war-torn and jihadist infested countries.

But that's not what the Social Justice Whiners and the media, including FOX News heard.  Instead they heard, and are in-turn parroting:

TRUMP BANS MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS!!!

Protests, of course, erupted at airports and cities across the country, including here at Sea-Tac.

Campaign Contessa, Kellyanne Conway, defended Trump's "immigration ban."

Amidst all leftist lamentations, and from some GOP congressmen, David French does and admirable job separating fact from hysteria regarding Trump's decree.

But during the last eight years, leftist withheld their lamentations when Barry O halted visas.  Not only that, but Trump's exec order targets countries already outlined by Barry O's decree of 2015.

Matt Vespa also adds his two Dinars with the friendly reminder that Obama selected the list of countries on Trump's hit list.

Nor was Barry O the only Democrat that implemented such "draconian measures" regarding American immigration policy.

There was Slick Willy...

...and Jimmy Malaise Carter before him.

(Another image from:  I Hate Hippies and Their Stupid Light Bulbs)

Ben Swann refers to the current protests as opportunistic outrage.

And I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity for leftist outrage for the next four to eight years.

Topsy Turvy Over Trump

(Image from:  Cartoon Stock)
Well the Trump Administration is a week old, and emotions haven't settled down yet.

They probably won't until a Democrat is once again in the Oval Office.

To help achieve their cherished goal, some leftists are calling for a progressive Tea Party "resistance."

The Trump presidential years will certainly not be quite ones.

In these topsy turvy times, VDH explains how the 2016 Presidential Election turned the world upside down.

And Derek Hunter provides a handy-dandy New Dictionary for the Trump Years.

Inaugural Crowd-Count Conundrum

Immediately after our Hairpiece-in-Chief was sworn-in, the non-FOX News media was yukking it up over the smaller crowd attending The Donald's inauguration compared to Barry O's in '09.

(Image from:  College Humor)
There were memes floating around Facebook claiming the comparative photos were taken at different times during the respective ceremonies.

Maybe.  Maybe Not.

In any case, our new Spinmeister, Sean Spicer, came out swinging in his first press conference accusing the media of false reporting.

A couple days later, Trump's Campaign Contessa, Kellyanne Conway, doubled-down and defended Spicer's use of "alternate facts."

Now, no matter what Team Trump manages to accomplish in the next four (eight?) years--it will forever be identified with the Orwellian term "alternate facts."

The Boorish Billionaire's in-your-face style suited him well on the campaign trail...

...but maybe one of his handlers should clue him in that as president, he & his minions should pick & choose their public relations (PR) battles.

A couple nights ago, on The Factor, host Bill O'Reilly pointed out that the DC Swamp and its surroundings are Democrat strongholds.  So Trump's triumphant entry into the White House would naturally draw a smaller crowd.

Besides, why should Team Trump care about crowd counts?

I sure don't, especially since more people attended Trump's inauguration than Hillary Clinton's...

Translation Guide for the Next Four (Eight?) Years

While leftist snowflakes skip around the Six Stages of Grief during their perpetual meltdowns, they'll be saying--screaming more likely--all sorts of things.

John Hawks has provided us like-minded folks with a handy-dandy guide to decipher leftist rants:

20 Translations of Things That Leftists Say

What the snowflakes don't realize is this:  The more tantrums they throw, the more relieved we are that Trump won the election.

Gutfeld: A Message to the Trump Protesters/Inauguration Protest Ironies

Well, Trump was duly sworn-in on Friday, and from the fringes of the celebrations, the weekend was chock-full of protests. The Seattle Times even provided a handy-dandy guide on when & where activists would take to the Emerald City's streets.

By Friday evening 217 people were arrested, which provided us like-minded folks a sense of schadenfeude...

(Image from:  Amiri King)

On Saturday, women marched against Our Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief.  Seattle had a record crowd.

Apparently, protestors "worldwide" rallied against Trump on his very first full-day in office.

That's all fine & good.

However, one part of the world didn't seem to get the memo:  The Islamic world.

(Image from:  I Hate Hippies and Their Stupid Light Bulbs)
Oh, sure there were Islamic women marching--in the streets of western cities.  But I haven't seen any reports of anti-pussy-grabbing protests within Islamic nations.  The Diplomad made similar observations.

It's now being reported that one of the march organizers met with a Hamas operative.

Not only are our fair-weather feminists ignoring the Islamic War on Women, along with any possible jihadist connections within their ranks; but they've also been ignoring the sexcapades of a former president along with the bullying by this election's loser.

(Another Image from:  I Hate Hippies and Their Stupid Light Bulbs)
Nor were all women's groups officially invited, but the pro-life group marched anyway.

Good for them.

And of course, Godwin's Law was invoked by another out-of-touch celebrity.  Ashley Judd claimed she could feel Hilter in these streets.

I'm not going to predict what Team Trump will accomplish--or mess up.  But one thing is for certain:

The next four (eight?) years won't be quiet ones.

If the Inauguration Day left-wing media headlines are anything to go by, one would think we're now living in the "Imperial States of the First Order," or something.

Inauguration Day Dispatch

I'll be off line for the next couple of days, so I'll probably won't be writing any Inauguration Day posts.  We already know a Donkey Drove of Democrats will be boycotting Trump's swearing-in, along with Hollyweirdos hoping to whip up a protest or three.

In the meantime, here's some political cartoons highlighting the last days of Barry O's misrule, featuring a list of his accomplishments...

...the stature of his legacy...
...his foreign policy achievements...

...and the respect he's received from world leaders.

Of course, no matter what the facts on the ground are, the Ministry of Truth will do its utmost to safeguard Barry O's legacy.

It's already being reported Barry O's approval rating is 60%

Traitor Manning's Sentence Commuted

(Image from Red White Blue News' Facebook page)

Two days ago, Barry O commuted the sentence of Brandon/Chelsea Manning.

Besides being weapons-grade bullshit, this decision illustrates the double standard of leftists.  The Democrats and their leftist lackeys are all up in arms over "Russian hacking of the election," of which Wikileaks was an integral part, but then turns around and commutes the sentence of one of Wikileaks' key players.

Jeff Edwards, writing in Unprecedented Mediocrity, voices veterans' feelings very well in his Silly Sacrilege of Commuting Traitor Chelsea Manning article.

Despite Manning's name and gender change, I only call him by his true first name:  Traitor.

Gutfeld: The Benefits of a Celebrity-Free Inauguration

We're down to the last three days of Barry O's abominable administration, and the leftist meltdowns haven't slowed down.

In addition to Hollyweird celebrities dropping out of the Inauguration festivities, here's a growing list of Democrats ducking out of it.

All the more reason to see they never have their hooves on the levers of power ever again.

If any A to D-Listers are to be found near DC, they'll probably be with Michael Moore and his Malcontents.

While Michael is a flaming leftist, at least he was smart enough to predict Trump would win the election.  Meanwhile, average Americans got the last laugh on Meryl Streep's slam against football and mixed marshal arts (MMA):  Last weekend's Packers-Cowboys game blew away the Golden Globe ratings.

Living in Seahawks' country makes me no Packers, or Cowboys fan, but I'm happy to hear their playoff showdown sacked the Golden Globes.

And speaking of getting sacked, what about all the celebs who promised threatened to leave if Trump was elected?

Well, unfortunately they're still among us Americans.

Barry O's Farewell Address

A few days ago, Barry O gave us a Final Lecture (a.k.a. Farewell Address).

I held off on posting about this earlier in order to commemorate Barry O's final week in office.

In case anyone is interested, and for the historical record, here's full event via ABC.

I didn't feel like loosing 1:26 hours of my life, so I haven't seen the speech.  I'm sure I've heard all of the typical leftist talking points during the past eight years.  (By the way, I didn't watch Trump's first post election press conference in it's entirety either).

Instead, I spent several minutes watching how Greg Gutfeld wasn't moved Barry O's soaring rhetoric, while Laura Ingraham countered every point he made.

That was enough for me.

I'm not going to make any broad historical comparisons about Obama's presidency, or any proclamations about how well Trump will do.  Instead, my farewell to Barry O is this:

At this moment in time, you have been the worst president in my lifetime.

Anti-Trumpers Pwned?

(Image from Sean Hannity's Facebook page)
A couple days ago, while Obama was lecturing America for the final time (more on that tomorrow), CNN & Buzzfeed reported Russia has compromising information on Trump.

Here's the alleged documents with the juicy parts highlighted.

While I was never involved with intelligence gathering during my active duty days, I've read intelligence reports.  None of them looked like this "Company Intelligence Report."

People smarter than me were also wondering about the latest in the Russian Hacking Narrative.

Christine Rousselle asked:  Did 4chan troll the CIA?

The Gateway Pundit seems to think so.

Steven Hayward is certain fake news jumped a fake shark.

And speaking of fake news, the person at the center of this golden shower storm, Donald Trump, slammed CNN as fake news (via Louder With Crowder).

If anyone is interested in what President-Elect The Donald had to say--besides slamming CNN--here's the full post-election press conference via ABC.  Bill O'Reilly provided some speech "Cliff Notes."

And if the Boorish Billionaire is a Russian puppet--who was (still is?) pulling Hillary's strings?

Hollyweird Political Preview

I haven't watched an award show since Return of the King swept the Academy Awards for 2003.

A few days ago, Hollywood celebrated itself for the 74th time with the 74th Annual Golden Globes Awards.

Of course, Hollyweirdos still haven't learned that the more they talk about politics the more us Deplorables despise them.  Instead of accepting an award with good grace, Meryl Streep used her moment in the spotlight to lambaste Trump.

So another celebrity makes a political statement during an awards show fewer and fewer people tune into.  Who cares, right?

Because their rants ruin our enjoyment of the films and shows we love.

There are very few people in America nowadays who don't watch television or go to movies.  My wife and I even went to see Rogue One last week, despite the hue & cry to Dump Star Wars.

The last time we saw a film on the big screen was to see Rogue One's predecessor The Force Awakens, just about a year ago.

Even though we don't actively call for boycotting films...

...we hardly venture out to see them.

We're not the only ones either.  The Diplomad mentioned his viewing habits while introducing Hollyweirdos to reality.

Last weekend's award show served as a preview Hollywood will be delivering for the next four years.

But Streep's rant not only reflected Hollywood's intolerance, but also it's hypocrisy as well.

First Week of 2017 News Round-Up

I was off duty for most of last week, and coincidentally so was my wife.  Unfortunately, while we enjoyed our time together the news-cycle didn't stop.

So here's a run-down of the top stories that broke during 2017's opening week.

First, US intelligence agencies concluded the Bare-Chested Czar ordered in "interference campaign" to help the Boorish Billionaire defeat the Corrupt Queen.  Later, they presented their findings to Congress.  Despite Leftists' hue & cry over "Russian Hacking!" there was no evidence of any votes being changed during the election.   But even ABC's Jon Karl pointed out why didn't Obama freak out when China hacked the US Office of Personnel Management?

Some hackers, spies and diplomats are more equal than others, I guess.

The assurances that the Ruskies didn't defile and voting data still wasn't enough to keep the out-of-touch Hollywierd celebrities from staying out of the political limelight--again.  Several celebs--none of whom I recognized--made a video demanding Congress oppose our Boorish Billionaire Prez Elect.  The good folks at Townhall concocted this parody:

And Now, A Special Message to Predictable, Self-Important Hollywood Celebrities.

(Image from MRCTV)
I re-watched both videos straight on YouTube so I could "Like" and "Dislike" as appropriate.  What I found curious about the original video was the Like and Dislike buttons were disabled.  It could have been operator error a glitch, or as I posted in the comment section:  Maybe they don't want to know how many folks dislike this video.

The week took a horrific turn when four thugs were arrested for the kidnapping and torture of mentally disabled man--and posting their torture porn on Facebook.  After some hemming & hawing over the video, Windy City's Finest finally ruled the torture of the Trump supporter to be a hate crime.

(Image from FOX61)
Now I agree with Gutfeld--hate crimes suck--primarily for the slippery definition employed by Leftists.  In addition be being glad the victim is still alive, and the thuggish foursome are in jail--without bail--I'm content to see the same rules being applied in this case and not allowing Leftists to whitewash this evil act as "bad home training," or that hate crimes are only committed by whites against minorities.

Unfortunately, this was Evil's warm-up routine.

On Friday (6 January), 5 people were killed and another 8 wounded when Estaban Santiago opened fire on fellow travelers in the Baggage Claim Area of Fort Lauderdale's Airport.

(Image from:  Breitbart)
Fortunately, the killer was captured.  Feds will be charging the killer and won't rule out terror.

Normally, I don't like it when officials and the media go wishy-washy on terrorism (or hypocritical on hate crimes), but it does sound like Santiago had issues before he went on his killing spree.

Even so, Mark Steyn summed it all up with his article on Identity Politics and Dehumanization.

While Barry O's days in the Oval Office are numbered, I'm afraid there will be plenty of WTFO news in the year(s) ahead.

Happy New Year to My Fellow Deplorables!

My last post of 2016 was titled:  Year of Generation Snowflake.

And there were plenty of other flakes around too.

John Hawkins gives us his Top 10 Most Annoying Leftists of 2016.

However, when it came right down to the wire on Election Day, Todd Barnes reminds us that 2016 was The Year of the Deplorables.

So we can all take a moment--before any stupid stuff starts in 2017--to be thankful we're not facing a Clinton 2.0 Administration in 20 days.

But we can't rest on our laurels throughout 2017.  We must ensure--by voting--that leftists stay in their bubble-wilderness...
