The "Downfall" of Debbie

Even if I were interested in watching last week's 2016 DNC, I was too busy to provide any daily update.

I'm far enough behind on posting this event that Wikipedia now has an entry on the 2016 Democratic National Committee Email Leak.

Notice though, how this left-leaning site doesn't use the word "Scandal" in it's title?

Although even without collusion from DNC apparatchiks, Bolshevik Bernie probably still would have gotten the boot, thanks to the super delegates pledging their fealty to Our Corrupt Queen Hillary.

Even though Wasserman Schultz now faces a serious challenge for her House seat, she currently has a job in the Clinton Campaign--and probably a better one if Hillary wins.

Democratic Party Disunity

Well after several days of being off-line, I'm now trying to catch up on events within and beyond the Ramparts of Civilization.

Corrupt Queen Hillary is suppose to give her big speech tonight.

I'm not sure how this is going to be received, especially since Debbie Wasserman Schultz and now even Nancy Pelosi were booed anytime they said "Hillary."

This Democratic Party Divide may indeed be a deep schism.

We might get a glimpse of it tonight when Our Corrupt Queen takes the stage, but we won't know for sure until November.

Erdogan's Quest to Install The Caliphate

Just over a week ago, members of the Turkish military attempted a coup against President Erdogan.  By dawn the following day, the coup failed, and the plotters were rounded up.

Then the purges began.

So far no one has been reported killed.  Yet.  Erdogan seems content with dismissing judges, academics, and university deans.  For now.

However, here inside the Crumbling Ramparts of Civilization, our leftist media is more concerned about the Boorish Billionaire's Missus supposed plagiarism of Our Dear Leader's Missus' speech.

Ralph Peters warns of the coming of the real caliphate.

Even if the next POTUS is willing to deal with the situation in Turkey, we may be too busy to do so.  Especially when Russian planes bomb a US base in Syria, and here at home, the dream of Muslim outreach has become a nightmare.

Breaking News: Shooting in Munich, Germany

A gunman, identified as a German-Iranian, killed 9 and wounded 16 at a Munich shopping mall

RNC 2016 Roundup

While I've been off-duty and pretty much off-line, I didn't watch the Republican National Convention (RNC) from start to finish, but only tuned-in for Trump's acceptance speech.

So here's a quick round-up of tidbits about the RNC:

First, the media that can't be bothered to question the Corrupt Queen's Secret Server, have been accusing Melania Trump of plagiarizing hefty chunks of her speech during the RNC's opening day.

Really?  Seriously?

If the media isn't going to hound Hillary over her past (current?) shenanigans, then I don't care how much material our possible First Supermodel plagiarizes.

Ann Coulter reminds us that Michelle's speech was trite too.

Then Ted Cruz's non-endorsement of Trump speech caused quite a stir.

Although Cruz wasn't the only one to raise a ruckus.  Protestors showed up, but in this instance, things backfired when one of them set himself on fire while attempting to burn the American flag.

While Republicans and conservatives--minus Ted Cruz--seemed to have enjoyed the convention, the presence of police officers traumatized some of the delicate snowflakes attending Case Western Reserve University.

Of course, not every Republican--including Ted Cruz--is enthusiastic about Trump being crowned the party's presidential nominee.  But as Scott Walker pointed out, a vote for anyone else will be a vote for Hillary.

Pokemon Go Declared Un-Islamic in Saudi Arabia

I've been off-line for a few days so I'm just catching up with the headlines on all the fun & games going on at the Republican National Convention.

But before I start posting about the Pachyderm Parade's circus, and speaking of games:  Saudi Arabia declared Pokemon GO "haram."

That is, un-Islamic.

Personally, I don't get the appeal of this new app/game.  I love gaming, especially the tabletop variety.  And I want to maintain a distinct line between gaming and reality.

But this is merely the opinion of one middle-aged blogger inside the Ramparts of Civilization who wouldn't think about banning the game.

The Islamic world, doesn't think like this though.

CNN Commentator More Concerned About French Politics Than Terror Attacks

Well, ISIS claimed the late truck driving terrorist, Mohamed Bouhlel was one of their own.

Whether Mo Bo was a card-carrying member of ISIS, or not is irrelevant.  Terrorism is a franchise, and has been operating as such for a while.  Our jihadist enemies don't need a centralized command and control system to conduct their attacks.  Investigating whether or not, Mo Bo, or any other terrorist wannabe are behind in their Terror Inc. membership dues payments is an exercise in grasping at straws.

But as I mentioned in previous posts, the aftermath of recent terrorist attacks have been following the same tiresome trajectory:  Blame anyone and anything else but Islam or Muslims.

In fact, one CNN commentator is more worried about French politics swinging to the right than over future terrorist attacks.

Like Greg Gutfeld, I'm tired of hearing our political ruling class and their media mouthpieces recommend continued passivity in the face of increasing savagery.

(In a semi-related note:  The coup in Turkey is kaput, while tensions rise between Turkey and the US).

Terrorists Weaponizing Everyday Life

The situation in Turkey remains unclear, at least at the time I'm writing this.

But then again, so are the details of lone wolf attack in Nice, France.

If you only watch CNN and read the New York Times, you'd think that a self-aware truck was responsible for the terrorist attack.  This is yet another attempt to avoid implicating, let alone outright declaring, that the perpetrator may have been influenced by the violent aspects of Islam.

For us infidels, this latest attack demonstrates how easy it is to commit an atrocity, and how hard it is to stop one.  While it's been reported that the driver had at least one gun and an unknown number of hand grenades, the majority of casualties were inflicted by driving his truck through the crowd.

What we're faced with now is that the "weaponization of everyday life" is making traditional counterterrorism tactics obsolete.  I don't know about you, but I've felt every day life has been weaponized since the Boston Marathon Bombers used pressure cookers for their bombs.

Meanwhile, our political ruling class, and the media (the same media attempting to memory-hole Islam out of any terrorist incident involving a Muslim), are encouraging us to meekly attend candle-light vigils and sign up for various hashtags.

Katie Hopkins declares we should stop waiting to be slaughtered and demand our leaders do something.

And by "slaughtered," more often than we're told, doesn't mean being quietly euthanized.  It's now coming to light that several victims in last November's Bataclan attack were tortured.

Breaking News: Coup Attempt in Turkey

At least 42 reported killed and 150 wounded as the Turkish military attempts a coup.

Even as I'm reading the news streams it's not clear whether the attempt has been successful.

Divided States of America in the Face of Growing Threats

Prior to the terrorist attack in France, The Diplomad, criticized Our Dear Leader for ruining the Dallas Memorial to the fallen police officers.

I didn't watch the service, but "Dip" provides a link to the transcript of O's speech, if you care to read it.

As news of the terrorist truck attack broke, "Dip" asked:  How much blood, Mr. President, how much do you need?

For the record, Our Dear Leader did respond, but with nothing memorable like Churchill's "We Will Never Surrender" speech.  But as Robert Spencer points out, Obama offering America's help with the investigation, still shows an unwillingness to admit our jihadi enemies are at war with us.

I guess we shouldn't expect much from a presidential administration willing to illuminate the White House in rainbow colors to show solidarity for the Supreme Court striking down laws banning gay marriage, but can't be bothered to "go blue" in support of our nation's police officers.

Or, warns allies not to rile China, along with "leading from behind" in regards to Iran, Syria, Russia and North Korea.

While the latest terrorist attack occurred in France, America is still considered the world's superpower.

However, what power America can bring to bear has been, and continues to be sapped.

VDH explains how our nation's enemies see America [and our allies, I might add] as vulnerable prey.

Update: Dallas Gunman Dead & ID'd

The now-deceased Dallas cop killer has been identified as Micha Xavier Johnson.  He wanted to wanted to kill white people, especially white police officers.

I don't care for the often thuggish ways "Black Lives Matter" operates, but at least they denounced the Dallas Shooting.

I must admit that at this time I know nothing about the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, which supposedly was the catalyst for the initial protest in Dallas.

The Dallas Shooting is now considered the worst attack on law enforcement in 100 years.

Even this early on, the Dispatch audio is available.

Rep. Paul Ryan addressed Congress stating:  An attack on the people who protect us is an attack on all of us.

Careless Clinton Cleared of Charges

The FBI finally passed judgement on Our Corrupt Queen yesterday.  The G-Men considered Hillary and her minions "extremely careless" in handling top secret information and are not bothering to press charges.

Here's the FBI Director's press conference for your viewing displeasure.  Austin Bay calls him out for being a sell-out.

Others were "extremely careless" at handling classified information--but they got pinched.

But not Hillary Clinton.

And we're also told to believe Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton merely talked about their respective grandkids during their "chance meeting."

Fourth of July Weekend Bombings

While Americans were trying not to accidentally kill themselves with fireworks, outside the Ramparts of Civilization, terrorists (presumably from the Islamic State), deliberately killed another batch of innocent people.

Three Americans were among those killed during a hostage situation in Bangladesh that occurred on Friday (1 July).

Two days later, a car bomb detonated at a shopping center in Baghdad.  The death toll, at the time I'm writing this, is 126.

And before our Independence Day came to a close, there was breaking news of a near a mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

I'm always astounded how our own non-FOX News media gets so concerned about us conducting military operations against Islamic terrorists during the so-called sacred month of Ramadan.

And yet, Islamic terrorists have no qualms about killing innocent people, even fellow Muslims, during Ramadan.

What Difference Will the Benghazi Report Make After the Election?

Earlier this week, the House Benghazi Report slammed the Obama Administration to the attack.

Despite all the evidence, we still don't know what Obama was doing during the attack.

I'd like to think something good will come of this, but I'm growing more pessimistic each day.

Especially when the State Department is seeking a two year delay in the lawsuit against Clinton's aides' emails.

Two years though--especially if/when Our Corrupt Queen is sitting on the Oval Throne--is tiny compared to the 75 years the State Department claimed it needs to compile all of Hillary's emails.

In three quarters of a century from now, any damning details about the Benghazi attack will only make a difference in debates among historians.

Terrorism's True Colors and the O Administration Memory Hole

I haven't blogged much of a response to the bombing in Turkey.  It's not just that I've been busy at work, but also because each new jihadist atrocity is followed by the same tiresome trajectory of our political ruling class and the non-Fox News media:

Apparent confusion over the terrorists' motive, despite yet again, Islam shows its true colors.

Meanwhile, when Our Dear Leader and the Democrats are demonizing conservatives as racist for demanding common-sense security, they're scrubbing as many Islamic terms from official documents as fast as they can.

Yesterday, DHS testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee and of course, claimed nothing out of the ordinary was going on.

Nor is there any cause for concern about the FBI telling Florida agencies to deny public records requests about the Orlando Shooting.

If this keeps up, researching anything involving Islamic terrorism, even the 9/11 Attack, will result in something like this:
