Some of Our Missiles are Missing

He certainly looks trustworthy.

 Actually, some of their (as in Libyan) missiles are missing. According to a Benghazi Whistleblower, there may be 400 surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) on the loose. 

Because there's been no definative answer on what Ambassador Chrisopher Stevens was doing in Benghazi--with minimal security--the speculation about a SAM buy-back/roundup operation seems highly plausible.

Our Dear Leader is currently vacationing at "the people's resort" of Marthay's Vineyard.

But this trip is more extravagant than the Imperial Family's previous jaunts.  First Pooch Bo arrived on his own flight.

PC Disorder in the Court

It's tough being a terrorist these days.  They're hunted down by special ops teams, blown-up by drone strikes and when one finally winds up in a US court, they don't get the justice they crave.

Oh, I'm not talking about being denied their inalienable American rights--whether they're US citizens or not. 

No I'm talking about the case of "workplace violence alleged perpetrator," Major Nidal Malik Hasan.  He's thrown the politically correct (PC) court into disorder by openly admitting he committed his acts with the weapon in the evidence locker.

Like jihadis everywhere, they know us better than we know ourselves.

This kind of shenanigans is more fitting to a  Three Stooges skit than a military court martial.

Some Second Thoughts About Obamacare

As the 1 January 2014 deadline for the full implementation of Obamacare looms, folks are having second thoughts about this grand scheme. 

 

Yesterday's news warned healthcare premiums in some states will soar.  The article even refered to the plan as "Obamacare" and not the politically correct "National Healthcare Reform," or whatever the official title is.

 

Conservative sites and FOX News have been referring to Obamacare as such ever since Our Dear Leader and his cronies cooked-up this scheme.  But this is the first time I've heard CNN and Yahoo News using the term.

Still Sheltering In-Place

 

Not only have embassies across the blighted middle east remain closed, but the State Department ordered the evacuation of our embassy in Yemen.

 

But weren't we told--repeatedly--that Al Qaeda was decimated. 

 

Now I thought it was presumptious of Dubya to proclaim "Mission Accomplished"...

 

 

...which by the way has been panned by liberals ever since the banner was hoisted, but Our Dear Leader's regime has been pushing this Al-Qaeda's Been Decimated Big Lie ever since Bin Laden was offed by Seal Team Six.

 

I guess Al-Qaeda didn't get the memo about their demise. 

 

Must be very annoying to those in power how our enemies don't abide by our election cycles.

A Tale of Two (Liberal) Cities

Democrats are pushing for a bailout for the motorcity.  However, not surprising, most Americans are against it. 

 

Comrade Karla said it best: 

 

Of course, if this were to happen it would be a disaster on an epic scale, setting a terrible precedent.

 

Meanwhile, in the Emerald City, the elders are calling for a ban on "potentially offensive" language.  Apparently no one in city gov'mint has heard of the 1st Amendment.

 

My local friends and I keep asking when Comrade Karla is moving out here.  His response, in light of Seattle's edict:

 

There is no way I’d live in a place with this many crazy people making the rules. 

 

It's not too bad, (yet), as long as you live outside the crazy-city's limits.

 

 

 

US Embassies--Temporarily Closed for Business

Just before the weekend, the State Department announced it would close 21 embassies based on a terror threat.  Yesterday, the closures were extended due to the seriousness of the threat.  This action was based on increased message traffic, or "chatter" among known, or suspected terrorist cells.

Richard Fernandez refers to this as a global sheltering in place, while Mark Steyn calls it the action of a cringing superpower. 

Dear Leader Scoffs at Keystone

Apparently, the Keystone Pipeline isn't worth the effort, because it will only create 50 permanent jobs.  So why bother putting so few people back to work?

 

I guess it's best keep everyone on Food Stamps.

 

 

Meanwhile, other countries like China, are surging ahead with their Pipe Dreams.

Jay Carney confirmed the IRS and Benghazi Scandals were phony. 

 

So that means the rest of them are real, right?
