Some people here in civilization think its okay to negotiate with savages. Even after they behead 17 people for merely attending a dance.
In addition to the mass execution, I was also alarmed a this statement:
The Taliban spokesman for southern Afghanistan could not be reached for comment.
Do news agencies have the Taliban on their speed dials?

One of my friends made this Footloose observation:
There is no Afghan Kevin Bacon gonna fight for the right to dance, methinks.
Sadly, methinks he is right.
