Where We Are At With the Wuhan Flu

Just before Tax Day 2020, Dennis Prager asked:  Has the lockdown worked?

The short answer:  We don't know.

I’d feel better about this “Martial Law Light,” if the social distancing, essential business/items rules were applied more uniformly, but adjusted for state/local conditions and the number of cases within each state.

Instead, in various parts of the US & UK we have the closet fascists have tipped their hand, and we’re witnessing the slow death of our civil liberties as Democratic governors extend quarantine mandates within their states.

Religious services, specifically Christian services, in at least a couple of states have been subjected to crackdowns.

Meanwhile, some states have let inmates, even felons, free.  In Florida, one former prisoner was re-arrested on alleged murder charges.

In a sane world, one would think with ex-cons loose, state governments would make it easier for law-abiding citizens to acquire firearms.

Unfortunately, we still live in Clown World.

Governor “Klanrobes Blackface” of Virginia didn’t let this “good crisis go to waste” over Easter Weekend and signed a shit-ton of far-left agenda bills into state law:  Everything from gun control to abolishing voter ID.

Even the denizens from Down Under aren’t immune to ““nasty dobbers,” and authoritarian misfits with delusions of adequacy...who feel entitled to abuse people who are doing nothing wrong.”

The result of this petty, and not-so petty tyranny is causing discontent with the “mass house arrest” to grow as exponentially as the original Wuhan Flu.

Protests are popping up in North Carolina, Michiganders staged Operation Gridlock at the state capital, (even state Democrats accuse Governor Whitmer (D) of overreaching her authority), while citizens of Taneytown, MD, snarked-back at a police order to wear pants while leaving one’s house.

Laura Ingraham and The Diplomad have called into question our reliance on both experts (and “experts").

Meanwhile, no matter how anyone feels about the pandemic pandemonium, we’re approaching a Covid-19 gut-check.

Fortunately, there’s a couple silver linings.

First, the DOJ filed a “statement of interest” in favor of the Mississippi church-goers.

And hopefully some leftist fetishes—instead of our civil liberties—will disappear in the wake of the “Bat Gobbler Flu.”
