Bergdahl Brewhaha: NYT Spouts the Party Line and the No-Deal Deal

Ever since Our Boy Bergdahl was sprung from the clutches of the Taliban, Team Obama has been pulling out the stops to paint him as some sort of hero.

There's just one problem the Obamunists haven't counted on:  A sizable chunk of the American public isn't buying the Party Line.

So what does the New York Times branch of the Ministry of Truth do?

Casts doubt about the real heroes.  Also known as "blame the victim(s)."

And yes, there are several victims, soldiers who never came home because they were killed looking for a dippy deserter.

Mark Steyn casts even a larger net over the Party Line that the Bergdahl swap was a "good deal."  His blunt eloquence points out, in fact:  There is no "deal."
