The final scene in this year's midterm elections was shot in Louisiana: Bill Cassidy handily unseated Mary Landrieu in Saturday's run-off election.
A New Orleans radio show host cited the reason for the, now ex-senator's, loss was due to running contrary to the will of Louisiana voters.
