Broome County will most likely be reeling from the effects of this flood for years, according to this article in PressConnects.
I've been looking at photos posted the Flood of 2011 page on Facebook. This has been the proverbial double-edged sword for me. Unlike the 2006 Flood, I feel more connected to family & friends that are suffering from this ordeal. But on the otherhand, I feel more depressed when I have to step away from Facebook.
My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to family and friends back home.
